Then it says,‘ I’ll go back to my house that I came from.’ And returning, it finds the house vacant, swept, and put in order.

就说：‘我要回到我离开的那屋里去。’于是它回去，发现那里空着，已被打扫干净，摆设整齐，

於是說：『我要回到我所出來的屋裏去。』到了，就看見裏面空閒，打掃乾淨，修飾好了，

就說：『我要回到我離開的那屋裡去。』於是它回去，發現那裡空著，已被打掃乾淨，擺設整齊，

曰、我將歸所出之室、至、則見其闃寂、掃除、修飾矣、

曰、我將歸所出之室、至、則見其室闃寂、掃除修飾、

乃曰、不如我仍歸所出之室、既至、則見其室空虛、掃除修飾、

則曰：「我將返我故宅。」比至、見其室空空、掃除整潔、粉飾煥然；

Then it says,‘ I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.

Then it says,‘ I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives there, it finds the house empty. The house has been swept clean and put in order.

Then it says,‘ I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order.

Then it says,‘ I will return to the person I came from.’ So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order.

Then it says,‘ I’ll go back to my house that I came from.’ Returning, it finds the house vacant, swept, and put in order.

Then it says,‘ I will return to my house from which I came’; and when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, swept, and put in order.

Then he says,‘ I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.

Then he saith, I will return into my house whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth[ it] empty, swept, and garnished.

Then it says,‘ I will return to the home I left.’ When it returns, it finds the house empty, swept clean, and put in order.

Then he says,‘ I will return into my house from which I came out,’ and when he has come back, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.

in which you previously walked according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler who exercises authority over the lower heavens, the spirit now working in the disobedient.

He didn’t say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief. He was in charge of the money-bag and would steal part of what was put in it.

One of his heads appeared to be fatally wounded, but his fatal wound was healed. The whole earth was amazed and followed the beast.They worshiped the dragon because he gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying,“ Who is like the beast? Who is able to wage war against him?”

he is conceited, understanding nothing, but has a sick interest in disputes and arguments over words. From these come envy, quarreling, slander, evil suspicions,and constant disagreement among people whose minds are depraved and deprived of the truth, who imagine that godliness is a way to material gain.

Now by the time of supper, the Devil had already put it into the heart of Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son, to betray Him.

The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders,and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved.For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false,so that all will be condemned— those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness.

For some men, who were designated for this judgment long ago, have come in by stealth; they are ungodly, turning the grace of our God into promiscuity and denying Jesus Christ, our only Master and Lord.Now I want to remind you, though you know all these things: The Lord first saved a people out of Egypt and later destroyed those who did not believe;

But those who want to be rich fall into temptation, a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction.For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains.

“ But My people did not listen to Me; Israel did not obey Me.So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own plans.

But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property.However, he kept back part of the proceeds with his wife’s knowledge, and brought a portion of it and laid it at the apostles’ feet.Then Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds from the field?

When Simon saw that the Holy Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money,saying,“ Give me this power too, so that anyone I lay hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.”But Peter told him,“ May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought the gift of God could be obtained with money!You have no part or share in this matter, because your heart is not right before God.Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that the intent of your heart may be forgiven you.For I see you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”

All those who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered.If anyone has an ear, he should listen:

After Judas ate the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Therefore Jesus told him,“ What you’re doing, do quickly.”

And the one sown on rocky ground— this is one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy.Yet he has no root in himself, but is short-lived. When pressure or persecution comes because of the word, immediately he stumbles.Now the one sown among the thorns— this is one who hears the word, but the worries of this age and the seduction of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

There must, indeed, be factions among you, so that those who are approved may be recognized among you.

When a strong man, fully armed, guards his estate, his possessions are secure.But when one stronger than he attacks and overpowers him, he takes from him all his weapons he trusted in, and divides up his plunder.

For they— their hearts like an oven— draw him into their oven. Their anger smolders all night; in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.

They went out from us, but they did not belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. However, they went out so that it might be made clear that none of them belongs to us.

How can someone enter a strong man’s house and steal his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can rob his house.
