上主之神、臨我之身；恩膏沐首、大命是膺。天主遣我、所為何因：窮苦無告、得聆福音；俘囚獲釋、瞽者復明；困者以解、屈者以伸；

爾等當憑吾言而信予之在父、父之在予也；不然、則亦應憑予所行事蹟而信之。予切實語爾、凡置信於予者、必能行予之所行、且其所行將有大於斯者以予歸父故也。

親愛之兄弟、爾其諦聽、斯世之貧人、乃天主之所眷顧、使其富於信德、而簡為天國之嗣子。蓋天國特為愛慕天主之人而設也。

其時耶穌正治病療疾、祛魔啟盲、乃謂二人曰：『爾曹即以所見所聞、回報可也：盲者明矣、跛者行矣、癩者潔矣、聾者聰矣、死者起矣、而窮苦無告者得聆嘉音。

即之者甚眾、紛攜瘖盲跛廢等人、置耶穌足前、悉為治之。眾見瘖者言、殘者全、跛者行、瞽者明、乃翕然嘆服、而歸榮於義塞之天主。

瞽者跛者、就耶穌於殿中、耶穌盡為治之、皆獲康復。

路司德有生而跛者、雙足全廢、向未舉步；坐而恭聽葆樂講道、葆樂凝眸視之、見其具有可致全復之信心、乃揚聲而謂之曰：『爾其挺立！』其人即一躍而起、且行。

語畢乃大聲而呼曰：『賴柴魯興矣！』死者應聲而出、手足縛布、面裹巾。耶穌曰：『解之使行！』

有生而跛者、人日舁之至、置聖殿之華門前、向入殿者乞濟、見伯鐸祿若望至殿、求其施濟。伯鐸祿若望注視之曰：『視吾儕！』跛者仰視、冀有所獲。伯鐸祿曰：『金與銀、我無有；吾所有、願予爾！吾奉納匝勒人耶穌基督名、命爾起行！』乃挽其右手而起之；其足與踝、立時健復、一躍而起、能立且行、乃隨宗徒入殿、健步踴躍、歌頌天主。

今予既行之、爾曹縱不置信於予、亦應置信於事蹟。事蹟者、所以使爾曹了悟父之在予、予之在父云耳。』

耶穌曰：『予昔已告爾、而爾不之信也。予因吾父之名、所行諸事、已足為予證明、

其目果明。耶穌嚴戒之曰：『慎毋令人知。』

顧為予作證者、有較如望更為重要者焉。蓋父所授予之使命、令予完成、而予今猶慘澹經營者、亦為吾證、證父實曾遣予、

耶穌見眾趨集、斥邪魔曰：『聾瘖之鬼、予命爾離其身、毋得再入。』

『民之有司及諸長老！爾曹若為吾儕施恩於殘廢之人、而欲一究其全復之由、則爾與義塞民當知納匝勒人耶穌基督、即爾曹所釘於十字架者、天主已賜以復活。此人之所以能獲康復而挺立於爾前者、賴耶穌之名也。

乃進而撫柩、舁者止步。耶穌曰：『青年！予命汝興！』死者起坐發言。耶穌乃歸諸其母。眾皆驚駭、歸榮天主曰：『偉大先知、崛起吾中！』又曰：『天主實眷下民！』

耶穌下山、眾人爭從之。一癩者趨前、跽而求曰：『主若願者、必能潔我。』耶穌伸手撫之曰：『我願也、爾潔矣！』其癩應聲立淨。耶穌謂之曰：『慎毋告人、第往自陳於司祭、獻摩西定儀、為若輩證。』

『安貧樂道乃真福巍巍天國斯人屬。

『且退、女未死、第寢耳。』旁人嗤之。眾既疏散、耶穌入室、執女手、女起。

吾欲申讚歎於廣眾之中兮。還夙願於諸聖之前。上以報罔極之恩。下以踐平生之言。

暮夜來謁耶穌曰：『夫子吾人深知子之來教誨也、乃奉天主之聖命、蓋子所行之靈蹟、苟非天主所輔佑、其孰能行之？』

瞽目藉復明。幽囚蒙開釋。

當耶穌在耶路撒冷度免難節之日、人見其所行靈蹟、多有信奉其名者；

病者治之、死者起之、癩者淨之、眾魔祛之。爾既無功而受、亦應無酬而施。

眾皆不勝嘆異曰、『是其所為、靡有不善；直使聾者聰、而瘖者言矣。』

拯難濟苦。生靈優游。無絕不繼。無勞不休。

義塞人乎、當聆吾言！天主藉納匝勒人耶穌、以異能神蹟行於爾中、而為之證、是固爾所知者。
