耶和华以色列的神说：“我实在恨恶休妻的事，也恨恶那用残暴遮盖自己衣袍的人！”万军之耶和华说：“你们当谨守自己的心灵，不可背信。”

耶和华以色列的神说：“休妻的事和以强暴待妻的人都是我所恨恶的！所以当谨守你们的心，不可行诡诈。”这是万军之耶和华说的。

“ The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the Lord, the God of Israel,“ does violence to the one he should protect,” says the Lord Almighty. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful.

“ Suppose a man hates and divorces his wife,” says the Lord God of Israel.“ Then he is harming the one he should protect,” says the Lord who rules over all. So be careful. And don’t be unfaithful.

“ For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.”

“ For I hate divorce!” says the Lord, the God of Israel.“ To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.“ So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife.”

“ If he hates and divorces his wife,” says the LORD God of Israel,“ he covers his garment with injustice,” says the LORD of Armies. Therefore, watch yourselves carefully, and do not act treacherously.

“ For I hate divorce,” says the Lord, the God of Israel,“ and him who covers his garment with violence,” says the Lord of armies.“ So be careful about your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.”

“ For the Lord God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says the Lord of hosts.“ Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.”

For I hate putting away, saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, and him that covereth his garment with violence, saith Jehovah of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

One who hates and divorces”, says Yahweh, the God of Israel,“ covers his garment with violence!” says Yahweh of Armies.“ Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful.

“凡是休妻另娶的，就是犯通奸罪；凡是娶了被丈夫休的女人的，也是犯通奸罪。

“又有吩咐：‘如果有人休妻，要给妻子一份休书。’但是我告诉你们：凡是休妻的，除非为了淫乱的缘故，否则就是让她犯通奸罪了；凡是娶了被休的女人的，也是犯通奸罪。

有些法利赛人前来试探耶稣，说：“无论出于什么缘故，人是否可以休妻呢？”耶稣回答说：“你们难道没有读过吗？造物主从起初就把人造成男的和女的。并且说：‘为这缘故，人将离开父母，与妻子结合，两个人就成为一体。’这样，夫妻不再是两个人，而是一体了。因此，神所配合的，人不可分开。”他们问耶稣：“那么，为什么摩西吩咐说，给一份休书，就可以休妻呢？”耶稣对他们说：“摩西因着你们的心里刚硬，才准许你们休妻，但并不是从起初就这样的。我告诉你们：如果有人不是由于淫乱的缘故而休妻，另娶别人，就是犯通奸罪。”

有些法利赛人前来试探耶稣，问他：“人是否可以休妻呢？”耶稣回答他们，说：“摩西是怎么吩咐你们的？”他们说：“摩西准许人写一份休书就可以休妻。”耶稣对他们说：“摩西因着你们的心里刚硬，才给你们定下这条诫命。从创世之初，‘神把人造成男的和女的’，‘为这缘故，人将离开他的父母，与妻子结合，两个人就成为一体。’这样，夫妻不再是两个人，而是一体了。因此，神所配合的，人不可分开。”进了屋子，门徒们又向耶稣问起这件事。耶稣就说：“如果有人休妻，另娶别人，就是犯通奸罪触犯妻子。女人如果离弃丈夫，另嫁别人，也是犯通奸罪。”

耶和华如此说：“我休你们母亲的休书在哪里呢？我把你们卖给了我哪一个债主呢？看哪！你们被卖是因你们的罪孽，你们的母亲被休是因你们的过犯。

掩盖自己过犯的，不会兴盛；承认并离弃过犯的，必蒙怜悯。

他们的网不能作为衣服，他们所做的也不能遮盖自己；他们的作为是邪恶的作为，他们手中都是残暴的行为；

床铺太短，伸不直身子；被子太窄，裹不住全身。
