故予告爾、天主之國必奪自爾手、而授諸能結嘉實之人。

是故吾人之信德、起於所聞；所聞者何、即基督之福音是已。

耶穌曰：『天主國之奧義、賜爾知之；為他人惟設譬而已。彼乃所謂視而不見、聞而不悟者也。

凡父所賜於予之人、必來歸予；來歸予者、予決不拒。

蓋基督未嘗以悅己為事。經云：『人之詬爾、我則受之。』

眾見其行、有識之者、自各城步行、先往俟之。耶穌出見芸芸眾生、如無牧之羊群、惻然憫之、乃多方教導。

努力傳道、處順毋弛、處逆毋餒。務須一秉堅忍不拔之耐德、及真實無妄之教理、以規人之過、懲人之惡、而勗人之善也。

飢者飫珍饈、富人赤手退。

爾不曰：「四閱月、即是穡時」乎！今吾告爾、舉目一望田疇、黍稷與與、已可刈矣。

是故吾人儘可拓開心胸、從容自在、趨近慈恩座前、俾蒙憐恤、而獲及時之恩佑也。
