如果你們借錢給人，指望收回，有什麼功勞呢？即使罪人也會借貸給罪人，日後再如數收回。

你们若借给人，指望从他收回，有什么可酬谢的呢？就是罪人也借给罪人，要如数收回。

爾貸於人而望償、何惠之有、蓋罪人亦貸於罪人、欲其如數而償也、

借人而望償、何惠之有、蓋罪人借罪人、亦欲其償如數也、

爾若借與人而望其償、何惠之有、罪人亦借與罪人、欲其如數以償也、

貸而思償、何恩之有？罪人亦相貸而相償焉。

And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full.

And suppose you lend money to those who can pay you back. Should anyone praise you for that? Even a sinner lends to sinners, expecting them to pay everything back.

And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount.

And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners will lend to other sinners for a full return.

And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners to be repaid in full.

And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners in order to receive back the same amount.

And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back.

And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? even sinners lend to sinners, to receive again as much.

And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners to be repaid in full.

有求你的，就給他；有向你借的，不可拒絕他。

耶穌又對主人說：「擺設午宴、晚宴時，不要邀請你的朋友、弟兄、親戚或有錢的鄰居，免得他們回請你，你便得到報答了。相反，你設宴時，要邀請貧窮的、殘疾的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的，這樣你就有福了，因為他們都沒有能力回報你，到了義人復活那天，上帝一定會賞賜你。」

「然而，要愛你們的仇敵，善待他們；無論借出什麼，都不要指望歸還。這樣，你們將有大賞賜，並且將成為至高者的兒子，因為祂以恩慈待那些忘恩負義和作惡的人。

他們所需要的，你們要慷慨地借給他們。你們要謹慎，不可因為免除債務的第七年將近，就心懷惡念，對貧窮同胞冷眼相待，拒施援手。否則，他會求告耶和華，那時你們便有罪了。你們要慷慨給予，並且無怨無悔，因為耶和華必在你們所做的一切事上賜福給你們。你們居住的地方總會有窮人，所以我吩咐你們要慷慨地幫助貧窮或有需要的同胞。
