After those 62 weeks the Messiah will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the coming prince will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come with a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations are decreed.

You will become sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy.When a woman is in labor she has pain because her time has come. But when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the suffering because of the joy that a person has been born into the world.So you also have sorrow now. But I will see you again. Your hearts will rejoice, and no one will rob you of your joy.

Then He asked them,“ What is this dispute that you’re having with each other as you are walking?” And they stopped walking and looked discouraged.The one named Cleopas answered Him,“ Are You the only visitor in Jerusalem who doesn’t know the things that happened there in these days?”“ What things?” He asked them. So they said to Him,“ The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a Prophet powerful in action and speech before God and all the people,and how our chief priests and leaders handed Him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified Him.But we were hoping that He was the One who was about to redeem Israel. Besides all this, it’s the third day since these things happened.

labor and hardship, many sleepless nights, hunger and thirst, often without food, cold, and lacking clothing.

But I have told you these things so that when their time comes you may remember I told them to you. I didn’t tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.“ But now I am going away to Him who sent Me, and not one of you asks Me,‘ Where are You going?’Yet, because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth. It is for your benefit that I go away, because if I don’t go away the Counselor will not come to you. If I go, I will send Him to you.

If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.You know the way to where I am going.”

Heaven must welcome Him until the times of the restoration of all things, which God spoke about by the mouth of His holy prophets from the beginning.

Do not deprive one another sexually— except when you agree for a time, to devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again; otherwise, Satan may tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

On that day the Lord God of Hosts called for weeping, for wailing, for shaven heads, and for the wearing of sackcloth.

After He had said this, He was taken up as they were watching, and a cloud took Him out of their sight.

Sword, awake against My shepherd, against the man who is My associate— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will also turn My hand against the little ones.

But when you fast, put oil on your head, and wash your face,so that you don’t show your fasting to people but to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

As they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,“ Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work I have called them to.”Then after they had fasted, prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them off.

I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, protect them by Your name that You have given Me, so that they may be one as We are one.While I was with them, I was protecting them by Your name that You have given Me. I guarded them and not one of them is lost, except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture may be fulfilled.Now I am coming to You, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have My joy completed in them.
