and they spake, saying unto him, Tell us: By what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?

对他说：“请告诉我们：你凭什么权柄做这些事？是谁给你这权柄的？”

問他說：「你告訴我們，你仗着甚麼權柄做這些事？給你這權柄的是誰呢？」

問他說：「你告訴我們，你仗着甚麼權柄做這些事？給你這權柄的是誰呢？」

問他說：「你告訴我們，你仗着甚麼權柄做這些事？給你這權柄的是誰呢？」

質問祂：「告訴我們，你憑什麼權柄做這些事？誰授權給你了？」

對他說：“告訴我們，你憑著甚麼權柄作這些事？給你這權柄的是誰？”

對他說：『告訴我們，你仗着甚麼權柄作這些事啊？給你這權柄的是誰呢？』

對他說：「請告訴我們：你憑什麼權柄做這些事？是誰給你這權柄的？」

試告我、爾以何權行是、賜爾此權者誰耶、

請告我、爾以何權行是、賜爾斯權者誰耶、

曰、請告我、爾以何權行此諸事、賜爾此權者誰乎、

『請示吾儕、爾憑何權行此一切？且孰授爾以斯權耶？』

“ Tell us by what authority you are doing these things,” they said.“ Who gave you this authority?”

“ Tell us by what authority you are doing these things,” they all said.“ Who gave you this authority?”

and said to him,“ Tell us by what authority you do these things, or who it is that gave you this authority.”

They demanded,“ By what authority are you doing all these things? Who gave you the right?”

and said to him,“ Tell us, by what authority are you doing these things? Who is it who gave you this authority?”

and they declared, saying to Him,“ Tell us by what authority You are doing these things, or who is the one who gave You this authority?”

and spoke to Him, saying,“ Tell us, by what authority are You doing these things? Or who is he who gave You this authority?”

and said to Him:“ Tell us, by what authority are You doing these things? Who is it who gave You this authority?”

And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?

and said to him,“ Tell us: By what authority are you doing these things? Or who it is who gave you this authority?”

They asked him,“ Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?”

The Jews therefore answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one question, which if ye tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven or from men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why then did ye not believe him?But if we shall say, From men; we fear the multitude; for all hold John as a prophet.And they answered Jesus, and said, We know not. He also said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

and they said unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? or who gave thee this authority to do these things?And Jesus said unto them, I will ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men? answer me.And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?But should we say, From men— they feared the people: for all verily held John to be a prophet.And they answered Jesus and say, We know not. And Jesus saith unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

But he that did his neighbor wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?

And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? Thinkest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely the thing is known.

And when they had set them in the midst, they inquired, By what power, or in what name, have ye done this?Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders,if we this day are examined concerning a good deed done to an impotent man, by what means this man is made whole;be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Spirit: as your fathers did, so do ye.

For neither doth the Father judge any man, but he hath given all judgment unto the Son;that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live.For as the Father hath life in himself, even so gave he to the Son also to have life in himself:and he gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is a son of man.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? him hath God sent to be both a ruler and a deliverer with the hand of the angel that appeared to him in the bush.This man led them forth, having wrought wonders and signs in Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.This is that Moses, who said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me.This is he that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel that spake to him in the mount Sinai, and with our fathers: who received living oracles to give unto us:to whom our fathers would not be obedient, but thrust him from them, and turned back in their hearts unto Egypt,

And they brought him to Jesus: and they threw their garments upon the colt, and set Jesus thereon.And as he went, they spread their garments in the way.And as he was now drawing nigh, even at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen;saying, Blessed is the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.And some of the Pharisees from the multitude said unto him, Teacher, rebuke thy disciples.And he answered and said, I tell you that, if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out.

And he entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold,saying unto them, It is written, And my house shall be a house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of robbers.
