The one who loves his life loses it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.

More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ,

But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of God’s grace.

Whom do I have in heaven but You? And with You, I desire nothing on earth.My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
