But I withheld My hand and acted because of My name, so that it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I brought them out.

But I acted because of My name, so that it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations they were living among, in whose sight I had made Myself known to Israel by bringing them out of Egypt.

The Lord has made His victory known; He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.He has remembered His love and faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen our God’s victory.

Now if their stumbling brings riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full number bring!

He has dealt mercifully with our fathers and remembered His holy covenant—the oath that He swore to our father Abraham. He has given us the privilege,

I will bring you to the land that I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you as a possession. I am Yahweh.”

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery.

Regarding the gospel, they are enemies for your advantage, but regarding election, they are loved because of the patriarchs,since God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.

But I acted because of My name, so that it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.

So God heard their groaning, and He remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

I will make you into a great nation, I will bless you, I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

I will keep My covenant between Me and you, and your future offspring throughout their generations, as an everlasting covenant to be your God and the God of your offspring after you.And to you and your future offspring I will give the land where you are residing— all the land of Canaan— as an eternal possession, and I will be their God.”

Now if you will listen to Me and carefully keep My covenant, you will be My own possession out of all the peoples, although all the earth is Mine,and you will be My kingdom of priests and My holy nation.’ These are the words that you are to say to the Israelites.”

Even to this day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts,but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.

And even they, if they do not remain in unbelief, will be grafted in, because God has the power to graft them in again.For if you were cut off from your native wild olive and against nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these— the natural branches— be grafted into their own olive tree?So that you will not be conceited, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery: A partial hardening has come to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The Liberator will come from Zion; He will turn away godlessness from Jacob.
