“‘ Keep my decrees.“‘ Do not mate different kinds of animals.“‘ Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed.“‘ Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.

“‘ Obey my rules.“‘ Do not let different kinds of animals mate with each other.“‘ Do not mix two kinds of seeds and then plant them in your field.“‘ Do not wear clothes that are made out of two kinds of cloth.

“ You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind. You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material.

“ You must obey all my decrees.“ Do not mate two different kinds of animals. Do not plant your field with two different kinds of seed. Do not wear clothing woven from two different kinds of thread.

“ You are to keep my statutes. Do not crossbreed two different kinds of your livestock, sow your fields with two kinds of seed, or put on a garment made of two kinds of material.

你們和不信的人不可共負一軛，義和不法有甚麼相同呢？光明和黑暗怎能相通呢？基督和彼列（“彼列”是撒但的別名）怎能和諧呢？信的和不信的有甚麼聯繫呢？神的殿和偶像怎能協調呢？我們就是永生神的殿，正如神說：“我要住在他們中間，在他們中間來往；我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。”所以，“主說：你們要從他們中間出來，和他們分開，不可觸摸不潔淨的東西，我就收納你們。”

“不可把兩樣的種子撒在你的葡萄園裡，免得你所種的全部收成和葡萄園的出產，都要被充公歸與聖所（“要被充公歸與聖所”或譯：“受到玷污”）。你不可用牛和驢一同耕地。不可穿羊毛和細麻混合織成的布料。

沒有人會拿一塊新布補在舊衣服上，因為補上的會把衣服扯破，裂的地方就更大了。也沒有人會把新酒裝在舊皮袋裡，如果這樣，皮袋就會脹破，酒就漏出來，皮袋也損壞了。人總是把新酒裝在新皮袋裡，這樣，兩樣都可以保全。”

押沙龍偶然遇上了大衛的臣僕。那時押沙龍騎著騾子，騾子從一棵大橡樹茂密的樹枝下經過，押沙龍的頭髮被橡樹枝緊緊勾住，他就吊在空中，他所騎的騾子卻跑開了。

押沙龍的僕人就照押沙龍所吩咐的，向暗嫩行了。王所有的兒子就起來，各人騎上自己的騾子逃跑了。

這樣看來，有信心的人，必定和有信心的亞伯拉罕一同得福。凡是靠行律法稱義的，都在咒詛之下，因為經上記著：“凡不常常照著律法書上所寫的一切去行的，都被咒詛。”很明顯，在神面前，沒有一個人可以靠著律法稱義，因為“義人必因信得生”（“義人必因信得生”或譯：“因信稱義的人，必定得生”）。

他們有馬七百三十六匹，騾子二百四十五匹，

王就對他們說：“你們要帶著你們主人的僕人，使我的兒子所羅門騎上我的騾子，送他下到基訓去。

既然是靠著恩典，就不再是由於行為了；不然的話，恩典就不再是恩典了。

祭便的兒子是亞雅和亞拿。當年在曠野牧放他父親祭便的驢，發現了溫泉的，就是亞拿。
