For no one is cast off by the Lord forever.

The Lord doesn’t turn his back on people forever.

For the Lord will not cast off forever,

For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever.

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.In overflowing wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting lovingkindness will I have mercy on thee, saith Jehovah thy Redeemer.For this is as the waters of Noah unto me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my lovingkindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed, saith Jehovah that hath mercy on thee.

Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favorable no more?

For Jehovah will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance.

and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

I say then, Did God cast off his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.God did not cast off his people which he foreknew. Or know ye not what the scripture saith of Elijah? how he pleadeth with God against Israel:Lord, they have killed thy prophets, they have digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have left for myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal.Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.But if it is by grace, it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.

For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls that I have made.

Thus saith Jehovah: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith Jehovah.

Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which Jehovah did choose, he hath cast them off? thus do they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

For Jehovah will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake, because it hath pleased Jehovah to make you a people unto himself.

Jehovah is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness.He will not always chide; Neither will he keep his anger for ever.He hath not dealt with us after our sins, Nor rewarded us after our iniquities.

Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in lovingkindness.
