主奚忿怒、以雲蔽郇女兮、以色列之榮華、自天擲地兮、發怒之日、不念其足几兮、

主怒郇邑、愁雲慘淡、以色列雖榮光焜耀、若躋穹蒼、必下墮於地兮、雖為駐蹕之所、亦所弗惜兮。

How the Lord has covered Daughter Zion with the cloud of his anger! He has hurled down the splendor of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

我儕欲赴主之聖所、俯伏在主之足凳下、

大衛王起立曰、我兄弟、我民歟、宜聽我言、我意欲建殿宇、安置主之約匱、為我天主駐蹕駐蹕原文作足蹬之所、我已備材以待建造、

爾若基路伯展翼覆庇、我已使爾如在天主之聖山、如行於發火光寶石之間、爾自受造以來、行動完備、後竟顯為有惡、爾貿易繁盛、遂充以強暴、因爾得罪、我視爾若被玷污者、我必逐爾出我聖山、覆庇之基路伯歟、我必除滅爾於發火光之寶石中、

爾明光之晨星歟、何竟隕自天哉、勝列國者歟、何竟偃仆塵埃哉、爾自謂、我必升天、設位在天主眾星之上、坐於聚會之山、在北之極處、升於雲霄、與至上者相比、今爾下示阿勒、墮於坑塹、

答比匿白晝必變晦冥、我必在彼、折伊及人加於人之軛、使伊及人之狂妄驕傲、歸於烏有、其邑若雲覆蔽、且其婦女必被擄、

加伯農乎、爾會得升至天、後必墮於地獄、蓋在爾中所施之異能、若施於所多瑪、則於今日尚存、

爾曹當讚美主我之天主為至上、俯拜在主之足凳前、主為至聖、

主震怒甚烈、隱藏而不顧我、譴責我惟嚴、譴責我惟嚴原文作窘逐我加以殺戮、不施憐憫、自蔽以雲、或作在密雲隱藏使我祈禱、不得上達、

為幽暗晦冥之日、密雲黑雲之日、異族將至、既強且眾、勢若晨光、鋪於山巔、自古以來、未有若是者、斯後及於世世、亦必無有若是者、

歌曰、以色列顯者、殞於崇邱、可歎英雄死亡、

在天有戰、米加勒率其使者與龍戰、龍亦率其使者與戰、龍及其使者戰不勝、不得復居於天、於是巨龍即古蛇、稱魔與撒但素迷惑天下人者、被擲於地、其諸使者亦同被擲、

哀哉金失其光、兼金變色、聖所之石、傾於各衢首、

彼以金銀華飾其身、因生驕傲、又用金銀作其可憎可惡之偶像、故我使金銀為彼成若污穢物、必付諸外人手、使被劫掠、使地上地上或作世間惡人來攘奪、彼必污之、我必轉面不顧之、彼污我之禁所、故使強暴者至而污之、

哀哉斯邑、居民素多、今則寂寞、若嫠婦獨坐、昔於諸國中最大、列邦尊以為后、而今反為人供役、為人供役或作納貢

爾當告以色列族曰、主天主如是云、我之聖所、爾所恃以為榮、目中所喜悅、心中所羨慕、我必使之被玷、爾所遺之子女、必殞亡於刃、

加伯農乎、爾曾得升至天、後必墮於地獄、

我滅爾時、我必蔽天、使眾星昏暗、以雲蔽日、使月不發光、在天諸光、我必使之為爾昏暗、使爾地昏暗不明、此乃主天主所言、

耶穌曰、我見撒但自天而隕、如電然、

乃名子曰以迦博、以迦博譯即失榮之義蓋曰、榮已離以色列、因天主之匱被擄、舅與夫皆死也、
