並對以色列人說：「以後，你們的子孫問你們這堆石頭是什麼意思，

約書亞對以色列人說：“如果日後你們的子孫問他們的父親說：‘這些石頭是甚麼意思？’

對以色列人說：『日後你們的子孫若問他們父親說：「這些石頭甚麼意思？」

謂以色列人曰、異日爾之子孫、問其祖父曰、此石何意、

告以色列族曰、越至後世、爾之子孫、倘詰爾曰、立石何意。

謂以色列人曰、日後倘爾子孫問長上曰、此石何意、

He said to the Israelites,“ In the future when your descendants ask their parents,‘ What do these stones mean?’

Then he spoke to the Israelites. He said,“ In days to come, your children after you will ask their parents,‘ What do these stones mean?’

And he said to the people of Israel,“ When your children ask their fathers in times to come,‘ What do these stones mean?’

Then Joshua said to the Israelites,“ In the future your children will ask,‘ What do these stones mean?’

and he said to the Israelites,“ In the future, when your children ask their fathers,‘ What is the meaning of these stones?’

And he said to the sons of Israel,“ When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying,‘ What are these stones?’

Then he spoke to the children of Israel, saying:“ When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying,‘ What are these stones?’

And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?

and he said to the Israelites,“ In the future, when your children ask their fathers,‘ What is the meaning of these stones?’

And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What[ mean] these stones?

He told the Israelites,“ When your children someday ask their fathers,‘ What do these stones represent?’

He spoke to the children of Israel, saying,“ When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying,‘ What do these stones mean?’

这些石头在你们中间将成为记号。日后，你们的子孙问你们说：‘这些石头对你们有什么意思呢？’

要向他唱诗，向他歌颂，述说他一切奇妙的作为！要夸耀他的圣名！愿寻求耶和华的人心中欢喜！要寻求耶和华与他的能力，时常寻求他的面。他仆人亚伯拉罕的后裔，他所拣选雅各的子孙哪，要记念他奇妙的作为和他的奇事，并他口中的判语。

这一代要对那一代颂赞你的作为，他们要传扬你的大能。他们要述说你威严荣耀的尊荣，我要默念你奇妙的作为。人要传讲你可畏的能力，我也要传扬你的伟大。他们要将你可记念的大恩传开，并要高唱你的公义。
