They were glad to hear the report and praised God. And they talked no more about going to war against them to devastate the country where the Reubenites and the Gadites lived.

The people were glad to hear the report. They praised God. They didn’t talk anymore about going to war against the eastern tribes. And they didn’t talk anymore about destroying the country where the tribes of Reuben and Gad lived.

And the report was good in the eyes of the people of Israel. And the people of Israel blessed God and spoke no more of making war against them to destroy the land where the people of Reuben and the people of Gad were settled.

And all the Israelites were satisfied and praised God and spoke no more of war against Reuben and Gad.

The Israelites were pleased with the report, and they blessed God. They spoke no more about going to war against them to ravage the land where the Reubenites and Gadites lived.

The word pleased the sons of Israel, and the sons of Israel blessed God; and they did not speak of going up against them in battle to destroy the land in which the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad were living.

這機密的事就在夜間異象中給但以理顯示出來了。但以理便祝頌天上的上帝。

大衛對全體大眾說：『你們要祝頌永恆主你們的上帝。』於是全體大眾就祝頌永恆主他們列祖的上帝，俯伏叩拜永恆主和王。

西面就把孩子接到手臂中、祝頌上帝說：

祭司非尼哈和會眾的首領、跟以色列族系中的領袖、就是和他一同來的、聽見了如便人、迦得人、和瑪拿西人所說的話，都很滿意。

全羣眾人都默不出聲，直聽巴拿巴和保羅述說上帝藉着他們在外國人中所行的一切神迹和奇事。

大衛對亞比該說：『永恆主以色列的上帝是當受祝頌的，因為他今天打發了你來迎接我。你的審慎明辨是當受稱頌的，你本身也當受稱頌，因為你今天制止了我犯到殺人流血的罪，制止了我親手復仇。

現在提摩太既從你們那裏到我們這裏來了，他將你們信心和愛心的好消息報告我們；說你們對我們常親切地惦念着、切慕要見我們，正如我們切慕要見你們一樣。故此弟兄們，在我們的一切困難和患難中、我們藉着你們的信心、就在你們的事上得了鼓勵了。如今你們若在主裏站穩，我們就真地活了。

不但用他的來到，也用他為你們的事所得的鼓勵來鼓勵我們。因為他把你們的切慕、你們的悲傷、跟你們為我而發的熱心、都報告了我們，以致我更加歡喜。

眾人宣讀了，就因着鼓勵的話而歡喜。

願祝頌歸與我們主耶穌基督的父上帝；他在基督裏、曾給我們祝福、以賜給我們天界中各樣屬靈的福氣。

經學士以斯拉在高過眾民以上的地方、當着眾民眼前把書卷展開；他一展開了，眾民就都站起來。以斯拉祝頌了永恆主至大的上帝；眾民都舉手應聲地說：『阿們！阿們！』又俯身，面伏於地、敬拜永恆主。
