The rest of Kohath’s descendants were allotted ten towns from the clans of the tribes of Ephraim, Dan and half of Manasseh.

Then the cities from the tribe of Ephraim were allotted to the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, that is, to the rest of the sons of Kohath.They gave them Shechem, the city of refuge for the one who commits manslaughter, with its pasture lands, in the hill country of Ephraim, and Gezer with its pasture lands,and Kibzaim with its pasture lands, and Beth horon with its pasture lands; four cities.And from the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its pasture lands, Gibbethon with its pasture lands,Aijalon with its pasture lands, Gath rimmon with its pasture lands; four cities.From the half tribe of Manasseh, they allotted Taanach with its pasture lands and Gath rimmon with its pasture lands; two cities.All the cities with their pasture lands for the families of the rest of the sons of Kohath were ten.

And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari; and the length of Levi’s life was 137 years.The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel; and the length of Kohath’s life was 133 years.And the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations.Now Amram married his father’s sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses; and the length of Amram’s life was 137 years.And the sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri.Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.And the sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.Now Aaron’s son Eleazar married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites according to their families.

The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’ households.

And the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

Of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, the family of the Izharites, the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites; these were the families of the Kohathites.

Then to the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, from the family of the tribe, from the half tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.

Now some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their territory from the tribe of Ephraim.They gave to them the following cities of refuge: Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim with its pasture lands, Gezer with its pasture lands,Jokmeam with its pasture lands, Beth horon with its pasture lands,Aijalon with its pasture lands, and Gath rimmon with its pasture lands;and from the half tribe of Manasseh: Aner with its pasture lands and Bileam with its pasture lands, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.
