When Joshua had grown old, the Lord said to him,“ You are now very old, and there are still very large areas of land to be taken over.

Joshua was now very old. The Lord said to him,“ You are very old. And there are still very large areas of land that have not yet been taken over.

Now Joshua was old and advanced in years, and the Lord said to him,“ You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to possess.

When Joshua was an old man, the Lord said to him,“ You are growing old, and much land remains to be conquered.

是永恆主你的上帝他要在你前面過去，他要從你面前消滅這些國的人，使你去取得他們的地；是約書亞要在你前面過去，照永恆主所說過的。

只是沒有孩子，因為以利沙伯不能生育；兩個人年紀又老邁了。

永恆主使以色列人得享平靜、沒有受四圍任何仇敵的騷擾。過了許多年日，約書亞也老邁，上了年紀；約書亞就把以色列眾人、他們的長老、首領、審判官、和官吏、都召了來，對他們說：『我已經老邁，上了年紀。

大衛王老邁、上了年紀，雖用被蓋着，仍不覺得暖和。

當時亞伯拉罕和撒拉已經老邁，上了年紀；撒拉的女人事兒也停止了。

這些事以後，永恆主的僕人嫩的兒子約書亞死了，那時他是一百一十歲。
