守節七日、越八日有大會、俱循常例、自始至終、以士喇日誦上帝律例之書。

與異邦人絕交、卓然自立、自任己過、及列祖愆尤。是日一時四刻、立於其次、誦上帝耶和華律例之書、又一時四刻、任罪崇拜上帝。

今日爾與族中最著者、長老族長、暨以色列眾、爰及妻孥、營中之賓旅、自採樵者及汲水者、俱立於爾上帝耶和華前。
