今我知人有智慧、乃因感於神、人之明哲、出乎全能主之靈氣、

但在人里面有灵；全能者的气使人有聪明。

其实，是人里面的灵，全能者的气使人有聪明。

然人衷有神、全能者之氣、畀以聰明、

夫人之聰明、皆賴上主之神所賦。

But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.

因天主賜人智慧、知識明哲、皆由天主之口而出、

天主之神造我、全能主之氣生我、

惟天主以其神、示之於我、蓋聖神窮察萬事、及天主之深奧、人之情、非居其心之神、孰能知之、如是天主之情、非天主之神、亦無能知之、我儕所受者、非斯世之神、乃由天主之神、使我能知天主之恩所賜於我者、

懷中智慧誰賦、心內聰明誰賜、或作誰使密雲如有智慧誰使天象如有聰明

有人由此神得言有智慧之言、有人由此神得言有知識之言、

教我世人、勝於地上走獸、賜我智慧、靈於空中飛鳥、

聖經皆由天主默示所作、有益於教誨督責、使人歸正、教人學義、

天主所悅者、賜以智慧、知識、歡樂、獲罪於天主者、天主則畀以收斂積蓄之任、終歸於天主所悅者用、此亦屬於虛、亦如捕風、

我則允爾所求、以聰明智慧之心賜爾、爾之前未有如爾者、爾之後亦無如爾者、

主更變時序世代、廢王立王、以智慧賜智慧者、以知識賜明哲人、

若爾中有人智慧不足、當求天主、天主乃厚賜人而不責人者、必賜所求、

此四少者、天主賜之以智慧明哲、通達各書各術、但以理又備知諸默示、諸夢兆、

以色列人眾聞王判斷若是、則俱畏王、因見王心有天主之智慧、能以折獄也、

天主賜所羅門極多之智慧與聰明、且宏廣其心志、如海濱之沙、

我暗中得默示、我耳得聞其畧、夜間、人酣寢之時、我心忖默想、忽睹異象、我恐懼驚惶、百骨搖戰、有神過於我前、令我毛髮森豎、神立、我不辨其狀、第見有象於我目前、靜默之中、我聞有聲云、人豈可義於天主乎、人豈可潔於造之者乎、或作人於天主前豈得為義人於造之者前豈得為潔天主之臣僕、天主尚不信、尚不信或作尚察其過天主之使者、天主尚責其愚、況居於土舍、其基塵埃、為蟲所蝕者乎、旦夕之間、即見毀滅、不意之中、不意之中或作人不計及永歸無有、其中至尊至貴者、非亦長往乎、非皆死於愚昧之中乎、或作其生命之線既斷則死於無知之中

法老謂約瑟曰、天主祭以此示爾、故我知無人如爾之明哲智慧、

默示之、默示之或作言提其耳垂訓以警之、
