You demanded security from your relatives for no reason; you stripped people of their clothing, leaving them naked.

You took clothes away from your relatives just because they owed you some money. You left them naked for no reason at all.

For you have exacted pledges of your brothers for nothing and stripped the naked of their clothing.

“ For example, you must have lent money to your friend and demanded clothing as security. Yes, you stripped him to the bone.

For you took collateral from your brothers without cause, stripping off their clothes and leaving them naked.

如果你拿了邻居的衣服作抵押，必须在日落之前归还给他。

他欺压困苦和贫穷的人，抢夺人的物件，没有把抵押品归还，眼目仰望偶像，并行可憎的事；

不欺压任何人，不索取抵押品，不抢夺人的物件，却把自己的食物给饥饿的人，把衣服给赤身的人穿着；

他们赶走孤儿的驴，强取寡妇的牛作抵押。

有人从母亲的怀中抢走孤儿，又强取穷人的衣物作抵押，因此穷人赤身露体流浪，他们因饥饿就抬走禾捆；

“如果你借东西给你的邻舍，不论所借的是什么，总不可走进他的家里去拿抵押。你要站在外面，等那向你借贷的人把抵押拿出来给你。他若是个穷人，你不可留他的抵押过夜。到了日落的时候，你要把抵押品还给他，好使他可以用自己的衣服盖着睡觉，他就给你祝福，这在耶和华你的神面前，就算是你的义了。“困苦贫穷的雇工，无论是你的兄弟，或是寄居在你的地上你的城里的，你都不可欺压他。你要当日给他工钱，不可等到日落，因为他贫穷，把心放在工钱上，免得他对你不满而呼求耶和华，你就有罪了。“不可因儿子的罪处死父亲，也不可因父亲的罪处死儿子；各人要因自己的罪被处死。“你不可向寄居的和孤儿屈枉正直，也不可拿寡妇的衣服作抵押。你要记住你在埃及作过奴仆，耶和华你的神把你从那里救赎出来；所以我吩咐你要遵行这话。

“不可拿人的磨，或是上磨石作抵押，因为这等于拿人的生命作抵押。

我若见人因无衣服死亡，或贫穷人毫无遮盖；他若不因我的羊毛得温暖，他的心若不向我道谢；

他们在各祭坛旁，躺卧在别人抵押的衣服上面；在他们神的殿中，饮用拿剥削回来的钱所买的酒。

不欺压任何人，把欠债人的抵押归还；他不抢夺人的物件，却把自己的食物给饥饿的人，把衣服给赤身的人穿着；
