And Jesus said,“ For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”

耶穌曰：『予臨斯世、實為黜陟、欲使不見者得見、而自以為明者轉成瞽盲。』

Jesus said,“ For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”

Jesus said,“ I have come into this world to judge it. I have come so that people who are blind will see. I have come so that people who can see will become blind.”

Jesus said,“ For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”

Then Jesus told him,“ I entered this world to render judgment— to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”

And Jesus said,“ For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”

And Jesus said, For judgment came I into this world, that they that see not may see; and that they that see may become blind.

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

Jesus said,]“ For judgment I have come into this world, so that those who do not see may gain their sight, and the ones who see may become blind.”

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”

And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil.

I have come as Light into the world, so that no one who believes in Me will remain in darkness.

to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying,“ I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

“ The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed,

“ He has blinded their eyes and He hardened their heart, so that they will not see with their eyes and understand with their heart, and be converted, and so I will not heal them.”These things Isaiah said because he saw His glory, and he spoke about Him.

But the one who hates his brother or sister is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

At that very time He cured many people of diseases and afflictions and evil spirits; and He gave sight to many who were blind.

He then answered,“ Whether He is a sinner, I do not know; one thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.”

And He said,“ Go, and tell this people:‘ Keep on listening, but do not understand; And keep on looking, but do not gain knowledge.’

What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened;just as it is written:“ God gave them a spirit of stupor, Eyes to see not and ears to hear not, Down to this very day.”And David says,“ May their table become a snare and a trap, And a stumbling block and a retribution to them.May their eyes be darkened to see not, And bend their backs continually.”

For this reason it says,“ Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.”

They do not know, nor do they understand, for He has smeared over their eyes so that they cannot see, and their hearts so that they cannot comprehend.

He answered by saying,“ And who is He, Sir, that I may believe in Him?”Jesus said to him,“ You have both seen Him, and He is the one who is talking with you.”And he said,“ I believe, Lord.” And he worshiped Him.

To shine on those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”

to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?

You judge according to the flesh; I am not judging anyone.

For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.

And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”

in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond servants on account of Jesus.For God, who said,“ Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Your eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness.So watch out that the light in you is not darkness.

For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son,so that all will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.“ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.Truly, truly, I say to you, a time is coming and even now has arrived, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself;and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.

And Simeon blessed them and said to His mother Mary,“ Behold, this Child is appointed for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and as a sign to be opposed—

those who are blind receive sight and those who limp walk, those with leprosy are cleansed and those who are deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Then the Lord stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me,“ Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to tear down, To destroy and to overthrow, To build and to plant.”

But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. So if the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.And in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says,‘ You shall keep on listening, but shall not understand; And you shall keep on looking, but shall not perceive;For the heart of this people has become dull, With their ears they scarcely hear, And they have closed their eyes, Otherwise they might see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, Understand with their heart, and return, And I would heal them.’

For the Lord has poured over you a spirit of deep sleep, He has shut your eyes— the prophets; And He has covered your heads— the seers.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Hear, you who are deaf! And look, you who are blind, so that you may see.Who is blind but My servant, Or so deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is so blind as one who is at peace with Me, Or so blind as the servant of the Lord?You have seen many things, but you do not retain them; Your ears are open, but no one hears.

and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not accept the love of the truth so as to be saved.
