我不與虛妄的人同坐，也不與偽善的人來往。我憎恨作惡的會眾，也不與惡人同坐。耶和華啊，我要洗淨雙手表明清白，還要繞著你的祭壇而行，好發出感謝的聲音，講述你一切的奇妙作為！耶和華啊，我愛你所住的殿，你榮耀所居之處！不要把我的靈魂與罪人一同收回，不要把我的命與殺人流血的一同收回。他們的手中有惡計，他們的右手滿是賄賂。

願我的靈不進入他們的密會，願我的榮耀不參加他們的聚集；因為他們在怒氣中殺人，又任意挑斷牛腿筋。

這樣的人是多麼蒙福啊：他不從惡人的謀略，不站罪人的道路，不坐譏諷者的座位！

西門彼得正站著取暖，有人對他說：「你不也是他的門徒嗎？」彼得否認說：「我不是。」

與智慧人同行的，必得智慧；與愚昧人結交的，必受虧損。

他們在院子當中生了火，一起坐著。彼得也坐在他們中間。有一個女僕看見彼得坐在火光中，就注視著他，說：「這個人也與他是一夥的。」

她看見彼得在取暖，就注視著他，說：「你也與那個拿撒勒人耶穌是一夥的。」

你們不要參與那些屬黑暗結不出果子的事，反而要把那些事揭露出來，因為他們暗中所做的，連說出來也是可恥的。

基督與彼列有什麼相融呢？信的與不信的有什麼關係呢？神的聖所與偶像有什麼相同呢？要知道，我們是永生神的聖所，正如神所說：「我將要在他們中間居住，在他們中間往來；我將要做他們的神，他們將要做我的子民。」「所以主說：你們要從他們中間出來，要被分別出來；不要碰不潔淨的東西，我就接納你們」，

你們不要被迷惑了！「結交惡友，敗壞善德。」

彼得和約翰被釋放了，就回到自己的人那裡，把祭司長們和長老們所說的話都告訴他們。

他們一上岸，就看見有一堆炭火，上面放著魚，還有餅。

耶穌在極大的痛苦中，禱告更加懇切；他的汗珠變得像大血滴，落在地上。
