耶稣对他们说：“你们从下面来，我从上面来；你们属于这世界，我不属于这世界。

我们知道：我们属于神，但整个世界都伏在那恶者之下。我们也知道：神的儿子已经来了，并且把领悟的心赐给了我们，使我们能认识真实的那一位。我们在真实的那一位里面，也就是在他的儿子耶稣基督里面——这一位就是真神，就是永恒的生命。

世界不能恨你们，却是恨我，因为我见证世界的行为是邪恶的。

不义的人，为义人所憎恶；行事正直的，为恶人所憎恶。

学生不高于他的老师，奴仆也不高于他的主人。学生能像他的老师一样，奴仆能像他的主人一样，就已经够了。如果人们称一家的主人为‘别西卜’，更何况他的家人呢！

我要把仇恨放在你和女人之间，放在你的后裔和女人的后裔之间；女人的后裔要重创你的头，而你要重创他的脚跟。”

如今在这些事上，因你们不与他们一起跑进那同样放荡的洪流中，他们就感到奇怪，毁谤你们。他们将要向那预备好审判活人和死人的神做出交代。
