你们当记住我对你们说过的话：“没有一个奴仆大过他的主人。”他们既然逼迫了我，也会逼迫你们；如果他们遵守了我的话，也就会遵守你们的话。

Remember what I told you. I said,‘ A slave is not more important than his master.’( John 13:16) If people hated me and tried to hurt me, they will do the same to you. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

其实，所有想要在基督耶稣里过敬神生活的，也都会受到逼迫；

“我确确实实地告诉你们：没有一个奴仆大过他的主人，也没有一个被派的大过派他的人。

学生不高于他的老师，奴仆也不高于他的主人。

这些犹太人不但杀了主耶稣和先知们，也驱逐了我们，并且不讨神的喜悦，又与所有的人作对，

受逼迫，却不被撇弃；被打倒，却没有灭亡。

并且亲手劳苦做工。被人辱骂，我们就祝福；被人逼迫，我们就容忍；

我们所传的，有谁相信了？耶和华的膀臂向谁显现了？他在耶和华面前如嫩芽生长，又像根出于干旱之地；他没有佳形、威荣，可以让我们仰视他；也没有美貌，可以让我们仰慕他。他被藐视、遭人厌弃，是个受痛苦、知忧患的人；他像一个被人掩面不看的人，他被藐视，连我们也不尊重他。

犹太人又拿起石头要砸死他。

“事实上，希律和本丢彼拉多，与外邦人和以色列子民果然在这城里一同聚集，对付你所膏立的圣仆耶稣，做成了你手和你计划所预定要成就的一切事。主啊，现在求你鉴察他们的威吓，使你的奴仆们能满有胆量地传讲你的话语。求你伸出你的手，藉着你圣仆耶稣的名，使疾病痊愈，施行神迹和奇事。”

有哪一位先知，你们的祖先不逼迫呢？他们杀了那些预言那义者要来的先知，现在你们又成为那义者的出卖者和凶手了。你们领受了藉天使所设立的律法，却不遵守。”他们听了这些话就勃然大怒，向司提反咬牙切齿。但是司提反充满圣灵，注目望天，看见了神的荣耀，又看见耶稣站在神的右边。他说：“看哪，我看见诸天开了，人子站在神的右边。”于是他们大声喊叫，捂着耳朵，一齐向他冲过去，把他拉到城外，用石头砸他。那些见证人把自己的外衣放在一个称为扫罗的年轻人脚前。他们用石头砸司提反的时候，司提反向主呼求，说：“主耶稣，求你接受我的灵魂！”然后他跪下，大声呼喊：“主啊，不要把这罪归于他们。”说了这话，他就睡了。

那些犹太人之所以逼迫耶稣，是因为他在安息日做这些事。

我确确实实地告诉你们：人如果遵守我的话语，就绝不见死亡，直到永远。”

原来，祭司长们和法利赛人早就下令，如果有人知道耶稣在哪里，就要报告，好抓住他。

他们因此拿起石头要砸他。耶稣却被隐藏，离开了圣殿。

西面祝福他们，并对孩子的母亲玛丽亚说：“看哪，这孩子注定要使以色列中许多人跌倒、许多人兴起，并要成为一个遭受反对的标记，

法利赛人听到了众人私下议论耶稣的这些事。于是祭司长们和法利赛人就派差役们去抓他。

耶和华对撒母耳说：“你就听从民众对你说的一切话。其实他们不是厌弃你，而是厌弃我作他们的王。

学生不高于他的老师，但所有学成的人，将会像他的老师一样。
