The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.

The crowd there heard the voice. Some said it was thunder. Others said an angel had spoken to Jesus.

When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to him.

So the crowd who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying,“ An angel has spoken to Him!”

The multitude therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it had thundered: others said, An angel hath spoken to him.

For the Sadducees say there is no resurrection, and neither angel nor spirit, but the Pharisees affirm them all.The shouting grew loud, and some of the scribes of the Pharisees’ party got up and argued vehemently,“ We find nothing evil in this man. What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?”

Just listen to his thunderous voice and the rumbling that comes from his mouth.He lets it loose beneath the entire sky; his lightning to the ends of the earth.Then there comes a roaring sound; God thunders with his majestic voice. He does not restrain the lightning when his rumbling voice is heard.God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend.

I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of cascading waters and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was like harpists playing on their harps.

Do you have an arm like God’s? Can you thunder with a voice like his?

On the third day, when morning came, there was thunder and lightning, a thick cloud on the mountain, and a very loud blast from a ram’s horn, so that all the people in the camp shuddered.

Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant appeared in his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder, an earthquake, and severe hail.

After this I saw another angel with great authority coming down from heaven, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor.He called out in a mighty voice: It has fallen, Babylon the Great has fallen! She has become a home for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, and a haunt for every unclean and despicable beast.

The angel took the incense burner, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth; there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

Then I saw the Lamb open one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder,“ Come!”

All the people witnessed the thunder and lightning, the sound of the ram’s horn, and the mountain surrounded by smoke. When the people saw it they trembled and stood at a distance.

The sound of the cherubim’s wings could be heard as far as the outer court; it was like the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.
