Then heaven and earth and all that is in them will shout for joy over Babylon, for out of the north destroyers will attack her,” declares the Lord.

So heaven and earth and everything in them will shout for joy. They will be glad because of what will happen to Babylon. Armies will attack it from the north. And they will destroy it,” announces the Lord.

Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them, shall sing for joy over Babylon, for the destroyers shall come against them out of the north, declares the Lord.

Then the heavens and earth will rejoice, for out of the north will come destroying armies against Babylon,” says the Lord.

Heaven and earth and everything in them will shout for joy over Babylon because the destroyers from the north will come against her. This is the LORD’s declaration.

諸天啊！你們要歡呼，因為耶和華作成了這事。地的深處啊！你們要吶喊。群山啊！你們要發聲歡呼。樹林和其中所有的樹啊！你們都當這樣。因為耶和華救贖了雅各，他要藉著以色列使自己得榮耀。

天哪，你要因她歡喜！眾聖徒、眾使徒、眾先知啊，你們也要因她歡喜！因為神已經在她身上為你們伸了冤。”

因為有一個國家從北方來攻擊它，使它的地荒涼；沒有人在那裡居住，人畜都逃跑無蹤。

“你們要從巴比倫出來，從迦勒底人中逃出來，你們要用歡呼的聲音宣告，把這事說給人聽，你們要把這事宣揚出去，直到地極，說：‘耶和華救贖了他的僕人雅各了。’

諸天哪！你們要歡呼。大地啊！你當快樂。眾山啊！你們要發聲歡呼。因為耶和華已經安慰了他的子民，也必憐憫他受困苦的人。

義人看見仇敵遭報就歡喜；他要在惡人的血中洗自己的腳。因此，人必說：“義人果然有善報；在世上確有一位施行審判的神。”

義人亨通，全城歡樂；惡人滅亡，大家歡呼。

耶和華已為我們伸冤；來吧！我們要在錫安宣揚耶和華我們神的作為。你們要磨尖箭頭，拿起盾牌（“拿起盾牌”《七十士譯本》譯作“裝滿箭袋”）；耶和華定意要毀滅巴比倫，所以激動瑪代諸王的心；這是耶和華的報復，就是為他的殿而施行的報復。

這些事以後，我聽見天上好像有一大群人大聲說：“哈利路亞！救恩、榮耀、權能都屬於我們的神，因為他的審判是真實公義的。他審判了那大淫婦，那以淫亂敗壞了世界的；並且為他的僕人向淫婦伸了流血的冤。”他們再一次說：“哈利路亞！燒淫婦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠！”那二十四位長老和四個活物，就俯伏敬拜那坐在寶座上的神，說：“阿們！哈利路亞！”接著有聲音從寶座發出來，說：“所有神的僕人哪！凡是敬畏他的，無論大小，你們都應當讚美我們的神！”我又聽見一個聲音，好像一大群人的聲音，像眾水的聲音，又像大雷的聲音，說：“哈利路亞！因為主、我們全能的神作王了！我們要歡喜快樂，把榮耀歸給他！因為羊羔的婚期到了；他的新娘也自己預備好了。

“看哪！有一個民族從北方而來，有一大國和許多君王被激動，從地極來到。

我看見天上有另一個景象，又大又奇。有七位天使掌管著末後的七災，因為神的烈怒在這七災中發盡了。我又看見好像有一個攙雜著火的玻璃海；也看見那些勝過了獸、獸像，以及獸名的數字的人。他們都站在玻璃海上，拿著神的琴。他們唱著神僕人摩西的歌和羊羔的歌，說：“主啊！全能的神，你的作為又偉大又奇妙！萬國的王啊，你的道路又公義又真實！主啊！誰敢不敬畏你，不榮耀你的名呢？因為只有你是神聖的，萬國都要來，在你面前下拜，因為你公義的作為已經顯明出來了。”

第三位天使把碗倒在江河和眾水的泉源裡，水就變成了血。我聽見掌管眾水的天使說：“今在昔在的聖者啊！你這樣審判是公義的，因為他們曾流聖徒和先知的血，現在你給他們血喝，這是他們該受的。”我又聽見祭壇中有聲音說：“是的，主啊！全能的神，你的審判真實、公義！”

因為，看哪！我必激動強國從北方之地聯群而來，攻擊巴比倫；他們要列陣攻打巴比倫；巴比倫就必被攻取。他們的箭必像善戰的勇士，不會空手而回。
