When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

但是耶和華在海上忽然颳起大風，於是海中狂風大作，船幾乎要破裂了。

耶和華在天上打雷，至高者發出聲音，發出冰雹和火炭。

耶和華用自己的能力創造了大地，用自己的智慧堅立了世界，又用自己的聰明展開了諸天。他一發聲，空中眾水就澎湃；他使雲霧從地極上騰；他造了閃電和雷雨，又使風從他的倉庫裡吹出來。

基路伯的翅膀發出的聲音在外院也可以聽到，好像全能的神說話的聲音。

他發出命令，這一切就都融化；他使風颳起，水就流動。

神顧念挪亞和所有與他一同在方舟裡的走獸和牲畜；神使風吹過大地，水就漸漸退了。

他使電光來臨，是為施行責罰，或為滋潤大地，或為賜予慈愛。

你能向密雲揚聲嗎？你能使洪水淹沒你嗎？你能差派閃電，閃電就發出，並且對你說：‘我們在這裡’嗎？誰把智慧放在懷裡，或把聰明賜於人的心中？塵土融合成團，土塊黏結在一起的時候，誰能憑智慧數算雲天呢？誰能把天上的水袋傾倒呢？

歌頌那乘駕在自古就有的眾天之上的主；看哪！他發出了強而有力的聲音。

摩西向海伸手，耶和華就用極強的東風，一夜之間使海水退去；他使海變成乾地，海水也分開了。

你們當細聽他轟轟的聲音，他口中發出隆隆的雷聲。他發雷聲響遍天下，也發電光閃到地極。接著雷聲霹靂，神以自己威嚴之聲打雷，人聽到雷聲的時候，神並沒有留住風霜雨雲（“風霜雨雲”直譯是“它們”）。神以奇妙的方法打雷，他行大事，我們不能了解。他對雪說：‘降在地上’，對大雨暴雨也是這樣。他封住各人的手，叫萬人知道他的作為。野獸進入洞中，留在穴裡。風暴來自南宮，寒冷出於北方。神所呼的氣息結成冰，廣闊無邊的水也凝結；他使密雲滿載水氣，雲彩布散他的電光。

你有神那樣的膀臂嗎？你能用他那樣的聲音打雷嗎？

因你的斥責，水就退去；因你的雷聲，水就奔逃。

耶和華轉了非常強大的西風，把蝗蟲吹起來了，投進紅海裡；在埃及全境，連一隻蝗蟲也沒留下。

列邦喧嚷，萬國動搖；神一發聲，地就融化。

他從天空颳起東風，施能力領出南風。

日出的時候，神又安排炎熱的東風。烈日曬在約拿的頭上，以致發昏，他就為自己求死，說：“我死了比活著還好。”

神為至大，我們不能了解，他的年數，無法測度。他吸收滴滴水點，使水滴在雲霧中化成雨，雲層傾下雨水，沛然降在世人身上。誰能明白雲彩的展開，和神行宮的雷聲呢？他在自己的周圍展開電光，又用水遮蓋海底；他用這些審斷萬人，又賜予豐盛的糧食；他以電光遮蓋雙手，然後吩咐電光去攻擊目標，他以雷聲宣揚自己，甚至牲畜也注意將有甚麼臨近。”

你曾入過雪庫，或見過雹倉嗎？

“以色列人哪！在我看來，你們不是與古實人一樣嗎？我帶領以色列人出埃及地，不是也領非利士人出迦斐託，領亞蘭人出吉珥嗎？”這是耶和華的宣告。

耶穌卻對他們說：“小信的人哪！為甚麼害怕呢？”他就起來斥責風和海，風浪就完全平靜了。眾人都驚奇，說：“這是甚麼人，連風和海也聽從他？”

耶和華的聲音在眾水之上，榮耀的神打雷，耶和華打雷在大水之上。耶和華的聲音大有能力，耶和華的聲音充滿威嚴。耶和華的聲音震斷了香柏樹，耶和華震斷了黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他使黎巴嫩山跳躍像牛犢，使西連山跳躍像野牛犢。耶和華的聲音帶著火燄劈下。耶和華的聲音震撼曠野，耶和華震撼加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音驚動母鹿生產，使林中的樹木光禿凋零；凡是在他殿中的都說：“榮耀啊！”耶和華坐在洪水之上，耶和華坐著為王直到永遠。

摩西就向埃及地伸杖，整整的一日一夜，耶和華把東風吹在地上；到了早晨，東風把蝗蟲吹來了。
