如購爾同族、希百來人為僕、事爾六年、既屆七年、例當釋之、然我有言、爾祖不傾耳以聽。

‘ Every seventh year each of you must free any fellow Hebrews who have sold themselves to you. After they have served you six years, you must let them go free.’ Your ancestors, however, did not listen to me or pay attention to me.

‘ Every seventh year you must set your people free. Each of you must set free all the Hebrews who have sold themselves to you. Let them serve you for six years. Then you must let them go free.’( Deuteronomy 15:12) But your people of long ago did not listen to me. They did not pay any attention to me.

‘ At the end of seven years each of you must set free the fellow Hebrew who has been sold to you and has served you six years; you must set him free from your service.’ But your fathers did not listen to me or incline their ears to me.

I told them that every Hebrew slave must be freed after serving six years. But your ancestors paid no attention to me.

‘ At the end of seven years, each of you must let his fellow Hebrew who sold himself to you go. He may serve you six years, but then you must let him go free from your service.’ But your ancestors did not obey me or pay any attention.

“ At the end of seven years each of you shall set free his Hebrew brother who has been sold to you and has served you for six years, and you shall send him out free from you.” But your forefathers did not obey Me nor incline their ear to Me.

“ At the end of seven years let every man set free his Hebrew brother, who has been sold to him; and when he has served you six years, you shall let him go free from you.” But your fathers did not obey Me nor incline their ear.

At the end of seven years ye shall let go every man his brother that is a Hebrew, that hath been sold unto thee, and hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.

主諭撒母耳曰、民向爾所言、爾惟從之、彼非棄爾、乃棄我、不欲我為其王、斯民自我導之出伊及、至於今日、恆棄我、服事他神、彼之待爾亦若是、

惟以色列人、所羅門不使為夫役、乃使為其戰士、臣僕、牧伯、將帥、車卒長、馬卒長、

主藉諸先知與諸先見、警戒以色列人及猶大人曰、當棄惡行、守我誡命法度、循我所命爾列祖、又藉我僕眾先知授爾之律法、斯民不聽、強項不馴、不信主其天主、與其列祖無異、

以金市貧民、以雙履之值市窮者、以朽穀鬻於人、

今有意強猶大人耶路撒冷民為爾奴婢、如是以行、必獲罪於主爾之天主、

以色列人與猶大人、自立國以來、自立國以來原文作自其幼時惟行惡於我前、以色列人手所作所為、惟干我震怒、此乃主所言、

自昔以來、未有若亞哈情甘自棄、行惡於主前者、蓋為其后耶洗別所慫恿、

六年間、爾可耕種田畝、穫其所產、至七年以為閒田、休息不耕、使爾民中貧者食之、其餘任野獸食之、爾葡萄園與油果樹園、亦如是行、

主如是云、我出爾母、離書安在、或作何嘗有離書我鬻爾於我何債主乎、爾曹見鬻、因爾之罪也、爾母見出、因爾之愆也、

自爾列祖出伊及之時、迄於今日、我屢屢原文作每日清晨遣我僕眾先知、以警教爾、竟不領命、不傾耳以聽、乃強厥項、行惡甚於其列祖、

惟彼悖逆我、不願聽我、不棄其目所羨慕可憎之物、不舍伊及之偶像、我言將震怒斯民、發我盛忿、滅之在伊及地、我言將震怒斯民發我盛忿滅之在伊及地或作我言將在伊及地震怒斯民洩盡我之盛忿在其身

西底家王與耶路撒冷民眾立約、宣告釋放之例、厥後主有言諭耶利米、所約者、即人各釋放為奴婢之希伯來男女、任其自由、勿使同族猶大人為奴、

主寛容之、歷年已久、且以主之聖神、感諸先知警戒之、彼仍不聽、故主付之於異邦人手、

人子、爾欲責之乎、爾若責之、則使之知其列祖所行可憎之事、

彼訕笑天主之使者、藐視其言、侮辱侮辱或作譏諷其先知、故主震怒其民、不復援之、

我誠苦矣、誰能救我脫此致死之身乎、

我儕知律法純神、我乃屬肉體、見鬻於罪、為其所轄、我所為者、不自知也、因我所願者、我不行之、我所惡者、斯行之、若我所行者、我不願行、則證律法為善、行之者非我、乃居於我中之罪、

釋兇暴之繩、解欺壓之索、釋受虐者、折一切壓人之軛、如是之禁食、始為我所悅、

今有律例、當傳於民、或作爾當設於民之律例如是若購希伯來人為奴、可事爾六年、至七年、可無贖銀、釋而自主、若孑身而來、則孑身而去、若有妻、則妻偕之去、若主人賜之以妻、生子女、則妻與子歸主人、其奴孑身以去、

彼不順從、不傾耳以聽、各縱惡欲、剛愎自用、不遵守我所命之約、我已降罰、循約所言、主又諭我曰、猶大人及耶路撒冷居民中有叛逆之事、彼先祖不肯聽我言、乃效其尤、從他神而事之、以色列族及猶大族、背我與其祖所立之約、

惟彼不從、背逆頑梗、塞耳不聽、剛愎厥心、同於金剛石、不聽律法、不聽萬有之主、以其神藉古先知所諭之之言、或作剛愎其心同於金剛石不聽律法不聽萬有之主以其神藉古先知諭彼惟彼不聽其言故萬有之主震怒特甚、

主如是云、以色列人犯罪、至三至四、更為利鬻義人、為履一雙售貧者、故我降罰以報之、必不挽回、
