緣此、甘霖止息、秋雨不降、爾猶靦顏不知恥、有如淫婦、

Therefore the showers have been withheld, and no spring rains have fallen. Yet you have the brazen look of a prostitute; you refuse to blush with shame.

So I have held back the showers. I have kept the spring rains from falling. But you still have the bold face of a prostitute. You refuse to blush with shame.

Therefore the showers have been withheld, and the spring rain has not come; yet you have the forehead of a whore; you refuse to be ashamed.

That’s why even the spring rains have failed. For you are a brazen prostitute and completely shameless.

This is why the showers haven’t come— why there has been no spring rain. You have the brazen look of a prostitute and refuse to be ashamed.

Therefore the showers have been withheld, And there has been no spring rain. Yet you had a prostitute’s forehead; You refused to be ashamed.

Therefore the showers have been withheld, And there has been no latter rain. You have had a harlot’s forehead; You refuse to be ashamed.

This is why the showers haven’t come— why there has been no spring rain. You have the brazen look of a prostitute and refuse to be ashamed.

That is why the rains have been withheld, and the spring rains have not come. Yet in spite of this you are obstinate as a prostitute. You refuse to be ashamed of what you have done.

我必斷絕你們因勢力而有的驕傲，又要使覆你們的天如鐵，載你們的地如銅。

耕地的也蒙羞抱頭；因為無雨降在地上，地都乾裂。

我必使它荒廢，不再修理，不再鋤刨，荊棘蒺藜倒要生長。我也必命雲不降雨在其上。

外邦人虛無的神中有能降雨的嗎？天能自降甘霖嗎？耶和華－我們的神啊，能如此的不是你嗎？所以，我們仍要等候你，因為這一切都是你所造的。

你頭上的天要變為銅，腳下的地要變為鐵。

心內也不說：我們應當敬畏耶和華－我們的神；他按時賜雨，就是秋雨春雨，又為我們定收割的節令，永存不廢。

糧食不是在我們眼前斷絕了嗎？歡喜快樂不是從我們神的殿中止息了嗎？穀種在土塊下朽爛；倉也荒涼，廩也破壞；因為五穀枯乾了。牲畜哀鳴；牛羣混亂，因為無草；羊羣也受了困苦。耶和華啊，我向你求告，因為火燒滅曠野的草場；火焰燒盡田野的樹木。田野的走獸向你發喘；因為溪水乾涸，火也燒滅曠野的草場。

我命乾旱臨到地土、山岡、五穀、新酒，和油，並地上的出產、人民、牲畜，以及人手一切勞碌得來的。」

在收割的前三月，我使雨停止，不降在你們那裏；我降雨在這城，不降雨在那城；這塊地有雨，那塊地無雨；無雨的就枯乾了。

他們行可憎的事知道慚愧嗎？不然，他們毫不慚愧，也不知羞恥。因此他們必在仆倒的人中仆倒；我向他們討罪的時候，他們必致跌倒。這是耶和華說的。

以色列家卻不肯聽從你，因為他們不肯聽從我；原來以色列全家是額堅心硬的人。

耶和華啊，你的眼目不是看顧誠實嗎？你擊打他們，他們卻不傷慟；你毀滅他們，他們仍不受懲治。他們使臉剛硬過於磐石，不肯回頭。

誰是智慧人，可以明白這事？耶和華的口向誰說過，使他可以傳說？遍地為何滅亡，乾焦好像曠野，甚至無人經過呢？

你們總要謹慎，不可棄絕那向你們說話的。因為，那些棄絕在地上警戒他們的尚且不能逃罪，何況我們違背那從天上警戒我們的呢？

耶和華在她中間是公義的，斷不做非義的事，每早晨顯明他的公義，無日不然；只是不義的人不知羞恥。

「主耶和華說：你行這一切事，都是不知羞恥妓女所行的，可見你的心是何等懦弱！因你在一切市口上建造圓頂花樓，在各街上做了高臺，你卻藐視賞賜，不像妓女。哎！你這行淫的妻啊，寧肯接外人，不接丈夫。凡妓女是得人贈送，你反倒贈送你所愛的人，賄賂他們從四圍來與你行淫。你行淫與別的婦女相反，因為不是人從你行淫；你既贈送人，人並不贈送你；所以你與別的婦女相反。」

他們卻不肯聽從，扭轉肩頭，塞耳不聽，使心硬如金鋼石，不聽律法和萬軍之耶和華用靈藉從前的先知所說的話。故此，萬軍之耶和華大發烈怒。

不肯順從，也不記念你在他們中間所行的奇事，竟硬着頸項，居心背逆，自立首領，要回他們為奴之地。但你是樂意饒恕人，有恩典，有憐憫，不輕易發怒，有豐盛慈愛的神，並不丟棄他們。
