When Jotham was told about this, he climbed up on the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted to them,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, so that God may listen to you.

Jotham was told about it. So he climbed up on top of Mount Gerizim. He shouted down to them,“ Citizens of Shechem! Listen to me! Then God will listen to you.

When it was told to Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim and cried aloud and said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

When Jotham heard about this, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem! Listen to me if you want God to listen to you!

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim, and raised his voice and called out. And he said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

And when they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, lords of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

And when they told[ it] to Jotham, he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.

When Jotham heard the news, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim. He spoke loudly to the people below,“ Listen to me, leaders of Shechem, so that God may listen to you!

When they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim and lifted up his voice, cried out, and said to them,“ Listen to me, you men of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

當耶和華－你的上帝領你進入要得為業的那地，你就要在基利心山上宣佈祝福，在以巴路山上宣佈詛咒。

「你們過了約旦河，西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟和便雅憫等支派的人要站在基利心山上為百姓祝福。

我們的祖宗在這山上敬拜上帝，你們倒說，應當敬拜的地方是在耶路撒冷。」

以色列眾人，無論是本地人或寄居的，都和他們的長老、官長和審判官，站在約櫃兩旁，在抬耶和華約櫃的利未家的祭司面前，一半對着基利心山，一半對着以巴路山，照耶和華的僕人摩西先前所吩咐的，為以色列百姓祝福。

我所要的禁食，豈不是要你鬆開兇惡的繩，解開軛上的索，使被欺壓的得自由，折斷一切的軛嗎？豈不是要你把食物分給飢餓的人，將流浪的窮人接到家中，見赤身的給他衣服遮體，而不隱藏自己避開你的骨肉嗎？這樣，必有光如晨光破曉照耀你，你也要快快得到醫治；你的公義在你前面行，耶和華的榮光必作你的後盾。那時你求告，耶和華必應允；你呼求，他必說：「我在這裏。」你若從你中間除掉重軛和指摘人的指頭，並發惡言的事，向飢餓的人施憐憫，使困苦的人得滿足；你在黑暗中就必得着光明，你的幽暗必變如正午。

並要在患難之日求告我，我必搭救你，你也要榮耀我。」但上帝對惡人說：「你怎敢傳講我的律例，口中提到我的約呢？其實你恨惡管教，將我的言語拋在腦後。你見了盜賊就樂意與他同夥，又和行姦淫的人同流合污。「你的口出惡言，你的舌編造詭詐。你坐着，毀謗你的兄弟，讒害你親母的兒子。你做了這些事，我閉口不言，你想我正如你一樣；其實我要責備你，將這些事擺在你眼前。

因為對那不憐憫人的，他們要受沒有憐憫的審判；憐憫勝過審判。

那僕人就俯伏向他叩頭，說：『寬容我吧，我都會還你的。』那僕人的主人就動了慈心，把他釋放了，並且免了他的債。那僕人出來，遇見一個欠他一百個銀幣的同伴，就揪着他，扼住他的喉嚨，說：『把你所欠的還我！』他的同伴就俯伏央求他，說：『寬容我吧，我會還你的。』他不肯，卻把他下在監裏，直到他還了所欠的債。同伴們看見他所做的事就很悲憤，把這一切的事都告訴了主人。於是主人叫了他來，對他說：『你這惡奴才！你央求我，我就把你所欠的都免了；你不應該憐憫你的同伴，像我憐憫你嗎？』主人就大怒，把他交給司刑的，直到他還清了所欠的債。

那時，他們就會呼求我，我卻不回答，懇切尋求我，卻尋不見。因為他們恨惡知識，選擇不敬畏耶和華，

轉耳不聽教誨的，他的祈禱也可憎。

塞耳不聽貧寒人哀求的，他自己呼求，也不蒙應允。

你們舉手禱告，我必遮眼不看，就算你們多多祈禱，我也不聽；你們的手沾滿了血。

你又使我的仇敵在我面前轉身逃跑，使我剪除那恨我的人。他們呼求，卻無人拯救；就是呼求耶和華，他也不應允。
