非利士人的五个首领看见了，当天就回以革伦去。这些金痔疮，就是非利士人偿给耶和华作赔罪的礼物的，一个是为亚实突，一个是为迦萨，一个是为亚实基伦，一个是为迦特，一个是为以革伦。

在以法莲山地的拉玛．琐非，有一个以法莲人名叫以利加拿，是耶罗罕的儿子、以利户的孙子、托户的曾孙、苏弗的玄孙。

他们有事件的时候，就到我这里来，我就在双方之间施行审判，使他们认识神的条例和律法。”

次日，摩西坐着审判人民的案件；人民从早到晚都站在摩西的身旁。

又从伯特利到路斯，经过亚基人的境界亚他绿，

现在你要听我的话，我要给你出个主意，愿神与你同在；你要代替人民到神面前，把他们的事件带到神那里。

撒母耳死了，以色列众人都聚集起来，为他哀哭，把他埋葬在拉玛他自己的家里。大卫起身，下到巴兰的旷野去。

押沙龙常常清早起来，站在通往城门口的路旁。有争讼的案件要进去请王判决的人，押沙龙就把他叫到跟前来，问他：“你是从哪一座城来的？”他回答：“仆人是从以色列某一支派来的。”押沙龙就对他说：“你看！你的案件有情有理，但是王并没有委人听你的案子。”押沙龙又说：“但愿有人立我作这地的审判官，这样，有案件或诉讼的人，都可以到我这里来，我就给他公平的审判。”如果有人走近押沙龙要拜他，他就伸手拉住他，并且与他亲吻。所有来到王面前请求审决的以色列人，押沙龙都是这样对待他们。因此，押沙龙暗中迷惑了以色列人的心。

耶和华这样说：“在拉玛听见有声音，是痛哭哀号的声音；拉结为她的儿女哀哭，不肯受安慰，因为他们都不在了。”
