By the wrath of the Lord Almighty the land will be scorched and the people will be fuel for the fire; they will not spare one another.

The Lord rules over all. When he gets angry, he will burn up the land. The people will burn in the fire. They will not spare one another.

Through the wrath of the Lord of hosts the land is scorched, and the people are like fuel for the fire; no one spares another.

The land will be blackened by the fury of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. The people will be fuel for the fire, and no one will spare even his own brother.

從中午十二點起，黑暗籠罩了整個大地，一直到下午三點。

在主那大而顯赫的日子來到之前，太陽要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血。

看哪！黑暗遮蓋大地，幽暗遮蓋萬民，但耶和華必在你上面升起，他的榮耀必顯現在你身上。

有權勢的必成為麻絮，他的作為必成為火花；二者共燃，無人撲滅。

到那日，他們將向以色列咆哮，好像大海澎湃；人觀看這地，看哪，只有黑暗和患難，甚至光在密雲中也變為黑暗！

看哪！耶和華的日子將要來到，是殘忍的，帶著盛怒和猛烈的怒氣，為要使這地成為廢墟，為要除滅其中的罪人。

為此，在萬軍之耶和華烈怒的日子裡，因著我的盛怒，我要使諸天顫抖；大地必從其原處震開。

他們的弓箭必把少年人射爛，他們不憐憫婦人腹中的胎兒，他們的眼也不顧惜小孩。

他們向大地觀看，看哪，盡是患難、黑暗、幽暗痛苦！他們必被趕入漆黑之中！

街上有為酒哭喊的聲音；一切歡樂都已黯淡，地上的喜樂都已離去。城中只有廢墟殘留，城門被打得破碎不堪。

因此詛咒吞噬大地，其上的居民必承受罪責；因此地上的居民被焚燒，只有少數人殘留下來。

要知道：既然神沒有顧惜那些犯罪的天使，把他們扔進地獄，囚禁在幽暗的坑裡，拘留到審判的時候；
