惟彼不知不悟、目塗不見、心蔽不明、

他们不知道，也不思想；因为耶和华闭住他们的眼，不能看见，塞住他们的心，不能明白。

这样的人不明白，也不领悟，因为耶和华蒙蔽他们的眼使他们不能看见，蒙蔽他们的心使他们不能明悟。

這樣的人不明白，也不領悟，因為耶和華蒙蔽他們的眼使他們不能看見，蒙蔽他們的心使他們不能明悟。

維彼不知不思、其目障翳不見、其心蒙蔽不明、

維彼不識不知、其目若塗以泥、其心不明、

They know nothing, they understand nothing; their eyes are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand.

People like that don’t even know what they are doing. Their eyes are shut so that they can’t see the truth. Their minds are closed so that they can’t understand it.

They know not, nor do they discern, for he has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, and their hearts, so that they cannot understand.

Such stupidity and ignorance! Their eyes are closed, and they cannot see. Their minds are shut, and they cannot think.

Such people do not comprehend and cannot understand, for he has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their minds so they cannot understand.

They do not know, nor do they understand, for He has smeared over their eyes so that they cannot see, and their hearts so that they cannot comprehend.

They do not know nor understand; For He has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, And their hearts, so that they cannot understand.

They know not, neither do they consider: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

Such people do not comprehend and cannot understand, for He has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their minds so they cannot understand.

They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see;[ and] their hearts, that they cannot understand.

They do not comprehend or understand, for their eyes are blind and cannot see; their minds do not discern.

They don’t know, neither do they consider: for he has shut their eyes, that they can’t see; and their hearts, that they can’t understand.

曰、往哉、告斯民云、爾曹雖聽、聽而不聰、爾曹雖視、視而不明、使斯民心蒙、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視、耳聽、心悟悔改、而得醫治、

若我之福音不明、惟為沈淪者不明、此世之主此世之主即魔迷惑此等不信者之心、基督榮耀福音之光不照之、基督乃天主之像、

彼眾不能信、因以賽亞復云、主使其目瞽心頑、免其目明心悟、悔改而我醫之、

爾此愚昧無知之民、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言、

我即任其心中剛愎、聽其隨意而行、

爾曹互相求榮、不求獨一天主所賜之榮、豈能信乎、

則爾必明敬畏主之理、必獲知天主之道、因天主賜人智慧、知識明哲、皆由天主之口而出、主為正直者存福祉、福祉或作救恩行止無過者、主護之如盾、主保公義之路、護虔誠者之道、爾亦必明平正、公義、正直、及一切善道、

彼惡者至、藉撒但之力、行一切虛偽之大能異跡奇事、及種種惑眾之邪惡、在將沈淪者之中、蓋彼眾不悅真理、且不受之而得救、故天主使其大謬、信從虛偽、使凡不信真理反悅不義者、悉被定罪、○

在是人也、正應以賽亞之預言云、爾將聽而不聰、視而不明、因斯民之心冥頑、自聾其耳、自閉其目、免其目視、耳聽、心悟悔改、而我醫之焉、

爾胡不明我言、因爾不能聽我道故也、

彼雖知天主、不以天主尊之、亦不謝之、乃思念虛妄、心以頑而愈昧、自稱為智、反成愚魯、以永生不可壞天主之榮、易以偶像、髣髴可壞之人、及禽獸昆蟲之形、

蓋主使爾猶如酣睡、閉爾目、蒙爾首、爾目即先知、爾首即先見、

如經載云、主使其心昏迷、目不見、耳不聞、至於今日、大衛曰、願其筵席成為網羅、機檻、礙石、以為其報、願其目矇而不見、其背屈而不伸、

多人將被試鍊、以致清淨潔白、惡人仍作惡、惡者不能明、智人能明、

牛識主人、驢知主人之槽、惟以色列不識、我民不知、

作惡之人、不明何者為公義、尋求主者、無所不明、

彼既不願存天主於念、天主聽其存邪僻之心、行所不當行者、

彼如以灰為食、中心昏昧、入於迷途、不知自救、不自曰、我右手所作、悉屬虛妄、

天主在先世、聽萬民各從其道、

爾自列邦得脫者、俱集而至、同就以聽斯言、惟彼攜其木偶、禱不能施救之神者、悉屬無知、

愚蠢者不能知曉、無知者不得明此、

蝮類乎、爾既為惡、言豈能善、蓋充諸心者出諸口也、

作偶像者悉為虛妄、其所慕者無益、可自為證、彼不見不知、必致羞愧、

彼皆愚昧、同為無識、拜偶像之典章、盡屬虛妄、所拜者惟木偶、

舉而舁之於肩、置於定處、立而不離其所、呼籲之而不應、亦不能救人於難、爾悖逆之人、當思其事、當自思己乃人也、當心中醒悟、

人不明此理、甚為愚魯、匠人必因所製偶像慚愧、蓋所鑄之偶像乃虛偽、內無生氣、

其目充於姦淫、獲罪不已、誘惑不堅者之心、慣於貪婪、是為可詛之輩、

誰為智者而明此事乎、孰具聰明而知之乎、主之道無不正、義人履之、罪人顛仆其中、或作主之道無不公正善人履之惡人顛仆其上誰有智慧能明此理誰有聰明能知此事

此犬又甚饕餮、不知饜足、牧人無知、各行己道、各謀利己、無一人不如此、
