See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.”

What I said would happen has taken place. Now I announce new things to you. Before they even begin to happen, I announce them to you.”

Let them bring forth, and declare unto us what shall happen: declare ye the former things, what they are, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or show us things to come.Declare the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.

Concerning which salvation the prophets sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:searching what time or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did point unto, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them.To whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced unto you through them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.

And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I established the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and that shall come to pass, let them declare.Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have I not declared unto thee of old, and showed it? and ye are my witnesses. And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, a horror of great darkness fell upon him.And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;and also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.But thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.And in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet full.

There failed not aught of any good thing which Jehovah had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which Jehovah your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, not one thing hath failed thereof.And it shall come to pass, that as all the good things are come upon you of which Jehovah your God spake unto you, so will Jehovah bring upon you all the evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which Jehovah your God hath given you.

Saith the Lord, who maketh these things known from of old.

And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a lamp alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.
