公平要居住在曠野，公義要安歇在田園。

基達的羊羣都聚集到你這裏，尼拜約的公羊供你使用，獻在我壇上蒙悅納；我必榮耀我那榮耀的殿。

他要執掌權柄，從這海直到那海，從大河直到地極。住在曠野的必在他面前下拜，他的仇敵必要舔土。他施和海島的王要進貢，示巴和西巴的王要獻禮物。

那時，瘸子必跳躍如鹿，啞巴的舌頭必歡呼。在曠野有水噴出，在沙漠有江河湧流。

我要在光禿的高地開江河，在谷中開泉源；我要使沙漠變為水池，使乾地變為湧泉。我要在曠野栽植香柏樹、皂莢樹、番石榴樹，和野橄欖樹。在沙漠一同栽上松樹、杉樹，和黃楊樹，

看哪，在山上有報佳音、傳平安之人的腳蹤。猶大啊，守你的節期，還你的願吧！因為惡人不再侵犯你，他已滅絕淨盡了。

主對我這樣說：「一年之內，按照雇工年數的算法，基達一切的繁華必歸無有。

你們當將羔羊奉送給那地的掌權者，從西拉往曠野，送到錫安的山。

禍哉！我寄居在米設，住在基達帳棚之中。

在山上報佳音，傳平安，報好信息，傳揚救恩，那人的腳蹤何等佳美啊！他對錫安說：「你的神作王了！」

耶和華對她說：兩國在你腹中；兩族要從你身上分立。這族必強於那族；將來大的要服侍小的。

看哪，我要行一件新事，如今就要顯明，你們豈不知道嗎？我必在曠野開道路，在沙漠開江河。

摩押的居民哪，要離開城鎮，住在山崖裏，像鴿子在峽谷口上搭窩。

有聲音呼喊着：「要在曠野為耶和華預備道路，在沙漠為我們的神修直大道。

曠野和乾旱之地必然歡喜，沙漠也必快樂；又如玫瑰綻放，

住在山穴中盤據山頂的啊，你被自己的聲勢與心中的狂傲所蒙蔽；你雖如大鷹高高搭窩，我卻要從那裏拉你下來。這是耶和華說的。

住在山谷和平原磐石上的居民啊，看哪，我與你們為敵，因為你們說：『誰能下來攻擊我們？誰能進入我們的住處呢？』這是耶和華說的。

你狂傲的心欺騙了你，你住在巖穴，居所在高處，心裏說：「誰能把我拉下來到地上呢？」
