主说：“因为这子民嘴上亲近我，用嘴唇尊重我，他们的心却远离我；他们敬畏我，不过是遵行人所教导的规条；

主说：“因为这百姓亲近我，用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我；他们敬畏我，不过是领受人的吩咐。

主说：“因这百姓以口亲近我，用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我；他们敬畏我，不过是领受前人的命令。

主说：“因这百姓以口亲近我，用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我；他们敬畏我，不过是领受前人的命令。

主说：“这些人嘴上亲近我，尊崇我，心却远离我。他们敬拜我不过是遵行人定的规条。

主说：“因为这子民只用言语来亲近我，用嘴唇尊崇我，他们的心却远离我。他们对我的敬畏，只是遵从传统的吩咐。

主說：「這些人嘴上親近我，尊崇我，心卻遠離我。他們敬拜我不過是遵行人定的規條。

主說：“因為這子民只用言語來親近我，用嘴唇尊崇我，他們的心卻遠離我。他們對我的敬畏，只是遵從傳統的吩咐。

主說：『這人民既只是口頭上親近我，嘴脣上尊敬我，心卻遠離着我；他們之敬畏我、不過是死記着人所吩咐的罷了；

主說：「因為這子民嘴上親近我，用嘴唇尊重我，他們的心卻遠離我；他們敬畏我，不過是遵行人所教導的規條；

主曰、斯民以口親我、以脣尊我、而心則遠我、彼之畏我、乃從人所授之命耳、

主曰、斯民以口舌附我、言則敬我、而心則遠我、其敬畏我者、苟隨流俗而已。

主曰、此民但以口親近我、以唇尊敬我、而心則遠離我、其敬畏我者、不過守習學世人所傳之誡而已、

The Lord says:“ These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.

The Lord says,“ These people worship me only with their words. They honor me by what they say. But their hearts are far away from me. Their worship doesn’t mean anything to me. They teach nothing but human rules that they have been taught.

And the Lord said:“ Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men,

And so the Lord says,“ These people say they are mine. They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. And their worship of me is nothing but man made rules learned by rote.

The Lord said: These people approach me with their speeches to honor me with lip-service, yet their hearts are far from me, and human rules direct their worship of me.

Then the Lord said,“ Because this people approaches Me with their words And honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me, And their reverence for Me consists of the commandment of men that is taught;

Therefore the Lord said:“ Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,

And the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw nigh unto me, and with their mouth and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which hath been taught them;

The Lord said: Because these people approach Me with their mouths to honor Me with lip-service— yet their hearts are far from Me, and their worship consists of man-made rules learned by rote—

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near[ me] with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

The sovereign master says,“ These people say they are loyal to me; they say wonderful things about me, but they are not really loyal to me. Their worship consists of nothing but man- made ritual.

The Lord said,“ Because this people draws near with their mouth and honors me with their lips, but they have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which has been taught;

他们看见耶稣的一些门徒用不洁净的手，就是没有洗过的手吃饭。原来，法利赛人和所有的犹太人都拘守古人的传统：如果不按规矩洗手就不吃饭；他们从街市上回来，如果不行洗净礼，也就不吃饭；他们还有很多其他的传统要拘守，例如洗杯子、瓶子、铜器，甚至床等。于是，法利赛人和经文士就问耶稣：“你的门徒们为什么不照着古人的传统行事，用不洁净的手吃饭呢？”耶稣对他们说：“以赛亚指着你们这些伪善的人所说的预言是对的，正如经上所记：‘这子民用嘴唇尊重我，他们的心却远离我。他们敬拜我也是徒然的，因为他们把人的规条当做教义教导人。’你们离弃了神的命令，而拘守人的传统。”耶稣又对他们说：“你们为了要守住你们的传统，竟然弃绝了神的命令！摩西吩咐过‘你要孝敬你的父母’，又说‘咒骂父亲或母亲的人，必须处死。’你们却说‘如果一个人对父亲或母亲说：我本该给你的，已经做了“各尔板”——这意思是“圣殿奉献”，就准许这个人可以不再为父母做什么了。’这样，你们就藉着所继承的传统，废弃了神的话语。你们还做很多类似这样的事。”

他们天天寻求我，喜爱认识我的道路，好像行公义的国民，不离弃自己神的法规；他们向我求问公义的判断，喜爱在神的近旁；于是他们问：‘我们禁食，你为什么不看；我们刻苦己心，你为什么不理会呢？’看哪！在禁食的日子里，你们实际上寻求自己所喜悦的，压迫一切为你们做工的人；

“你的门徒们为什么违犯古人的传统呢？他们吃饭的时候不洗手！”耶稣回答他们，说：“你们为什么为了你们的传统而违犯神的命令呢？神吩咐过‘你要孝敬你的父母’，又说‘咒骂父亲或母亲的人，必须处死。’你们却说‘如果有人对父亲或母亲说：我本该给你的已经做了圣殿奉献，他就可以完全不孝敬父母。’这样，为了你们的传统，你们就废弃了神的话语。你们这些伪善的人哪！以赛亚指着你们所说的预言是对的，他说：‘这子民用嘴唇尊重我，他们的心却远离我。他们敬拜我也是徒然的，因为他们把人的规条当做教义教导人。’”

你不要在他的话语上增添什么，免得他责备你，就表明你是说谎的。

这些东西都是一经使用就要衰朽的，是出于人的规条和教义；

“雅各家啊——你们是被称为以色列名下的，是从犹大水源而出的；你们指着耶和华的名起誓并提说以色列的神，不凭诚实，也不凭公义；你们自称是圣城的人，依靠的是名为万军之耶和华以色列的神——你们要听这话：

耶和华啊，求你垂听我公义的呼声，留心听我的呼求！求你倾听我的祷告，因它不出自欺诈的嘴唇。

我要派遣他去攻击一个不敬虔的国家，吩咐他去攻打我所恼怒的子民，掳财掠货，践踏他们，如同践踏街道上的泥土。
