They go over the pass, and say,“ We will camp overnight at Geba.” Ramah trembles; Gibeah of Saul flees.

They have marched through the pass there. They said,“ Let’s camp for the night at Geba.” The people of Ramah tremble with fear. Those who live in Gibeah of Saul run away.

They are crossing the pass and are camping at Geba. Fear strikes the town of Ramah. All the people of Gibeah, the hometown of Saul, are running for their lives.

They have gone along the ridge, They have taken up lodging at Geba. Ramah is afraid, Gibeah of Saul has fled.

之後，他才回到拉瑪自己的家中，也在那裡審理以色列人的案件，並為耶和華築了一座祭壇。

當時非利士的一隊防兵前往密抹的隘口駐守。

雅比的使者來到掃羅的家鄉基比亞，把他們的情況告訴眾人，大家聽了放聲大哭。

從便雅憫支派的產業中分給他們的城有：基遍、迦巴、

掃羅及其兒子約拿單和隨從留在便雅憫境內的迦巴，非利士人則在密抹紮營。

耶和華說：「以色列人啊，從基比亞的日子以來，你們一直不斷地犯罪，從未改變。難道戰禍沒有臨到基比亞的邪惡之輩嗎？

你們敗壞至極，恰如從前在基比亞的日子。耶和華必記住你們的罪惡，追討你們的罪債。

約拿單到非利士駐軍那裡需要經過一個隘口，隘口兩邊的山峰一個叫播薛，一個叫西尼，

從以色列人中選出三千人，親自帶領其中的兩千人到密抹和伯特利山，另外一千人和約拿單留在便雅憫境內的基比亞。他把其餘的人遣散回家。

主人說：「我們不可在沒有以色列人住的外邦城邑住宿，不如趕到基比亞。」他又說：「我們前往基比亞或拉瑪住宿吧。」於是，他們繼續前行，到便雅憫境內的基比亞時，天已經黑了。他們決定在那裡過夜。因為沒有人接待他們，他們只好在城中的廣場露宿。

耶和華說：「要在基比亞吹角，在拉瑪鳴號，在伯·亞文呐喊，便雅憫啊，敵人就在你身後！

亞撒其他的事蹟、功業和他興建的城邑都記在猶大的列王史上。亞撒年老的時候，患了腳疾。

基法·阿摩尼、俄弗尼、迦巴，共十二座城及其附近的鄉村。還有基遍、拉瑪、比錄、

事後，撒母耳回到拉瑪，掃羅也返回基比亞自己的家。

耶和華說：「在拉瑪有痛哭哀號的聲音，是拉結在為兒女哀痛，不肯接受安慰，因為他們都死了。」
