夫爾非至可捫火炎之山、及幽冥、昏暗、暴風、

爾所至者、非有形之山、在彼火焰靉靆、幽暗暴風、

爾所至者、非彼可捫之山、在彼有烈火、密雲、幽暗、暴風、

應知爾今所陟者、非一有形之山、其上有火焰靉靆、幽冥暴風。

You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm;

You haven’t come to a mountain that can be touched. You haven’t come to a mountain burning with fire. You haven’t come to darkness, gloom and storm.

For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest

You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai.

For you have not come to what could be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, gloom, and storm,

For you have not come to a mountain that can be touched and to a blazing fire, and to darkness and gloom and whirlwind,

For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest,

For ye are not come unto a mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

For you have not come to what could be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, gloom, and storm,

For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

那時，你們走前來，站在山下；山上有火燒著，火燄沖天，又有黑暗、密雲和幽暗。

全體人民都看見打雷、閃電、角聲和冒著煙的山；人民看見了，就顫抖，遠遠地站著。

“這些話就是耶和華在山上，從火中、密雲中、幽暗裡，大聲對你們全體會眾所說的，並沒有加添甚麼；他把這些話寫在兩塊石版上，交給了我。那時山上被火燒著，你們聽見有聲音從黑暗中發出來的時候，你們各支派的首領和你們的長老，都走到我這裡來，說：‘看哪，耶和華我們的神把他的榮耀和偉大顯給我們看，我們又聽見他從火中發出來的聲音；今日我們看見了神與人說話，而人還能活著。現在這大火快要吞滅我們了，我們為甚麼要冒死呢？如果我們再聽見耶和華我們神的聲音，我們就必死亡。因為有血肉生命的人，有誰像我們一樣，聽見永活的神從火中說話的聲音，還能活著呢？

耶和華榮耀的景象，在以色列人眼前，好像在山頂上出現烈火。

因為神所賜給我們的，不是膽怯的靈，而是有能力、仁愛、自律的靈。

你們接受的，不是奴僕的靈，使你們仍舊懼怕；你們接受的，是使人成為嗣子的靈，使我們呼叫“阿爸、父”。

如果那定人有罪的工作尚且有榮光，那使人稱義的工作就更有榮光了！

你要在山的周圍給人民定界限，說：‘你們要謹慎，不可上山來，也不可觸摸山腳；凡是觸摸著那山的，必要把他處死。不可用手觸摸他，必須用石頭把他打死，或用箭射透；無論是牲畜，是人，都不得生存。’當號角聲拖長的時候，你們才可以上到山上來。”摩西從山上下來到人民那裡去，使人民分別為聖，他們就把自己的衣服洗淨了。他對人民說：“第三天，你們要預備好了；不可親近女人。”到了第三天早晨的時候，山上有雷聲、閃電和密雲，並且角聲非常強大，以致所有在營中的人民都顫抖。摩西率領人民出營去迎接神，他們都站在山下。西奈全山冒煙，因為耶和華在火中降臨到山上；山的煙向上升，好像火窯的煙一樣。全山猛烈震動。角聲越來越大，大到極點的時候，摩西就說話，神用雷聲回答摩西。耶和華降臨在西奈山上，就是降臨到山頂上；耶和華呼召摩西上山頂，他就上去了。耶和華對摩西說：“你下去警告人民，不可闖過來，到我這裡觀看，免得他們中間有很多人滅亡。又叫那些親近耶和華的祭司分別為聖，恐怕耶和華忽然擊殺他們。”

罪必不能轄制你們，因為你們不是在律法之下，而是在恩典之下。
