For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

The message I give you waits for the time I have appointed. It speaks about what is going to happen. And all of it will come true. It might take a while. But wait for it. You can be sure it will come. It will happen when I want it to.

For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end— it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

And[ some] of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make[ them] white,[ even] to the time of the end: because[ it is] yet for a time appointed.

And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end[ shall be].

And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name[ was] Simeon; and the same man[ was] just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

And both these kings’ hearts[ shall be] to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end[ shall be] at the time appointed.

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.Know therefore and understand,[ that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince[ shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof[ shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make[ it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing[ was] true, but the time appointed[ was] long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.
