Then the Lord said to me,“ Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.

主對我曰、書斯默示、明記於簡、使讀者易讀、易讀原文作迅速而讀

Then the Lord replied:“ Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.

The Lord replies,“ Write down the message I am giving you. Write it clearly on the tablets you use. Then a messenger can read it and run to announce it.

And the Lord answered me:“ Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.

The LORD answered me: Write down this vision; clearly inscribe it on tablets so one may easily read it.

Then the Lord answered me and said,“ Write down the vision And inscribe it clearly on tablets, So that one who reads it may run.

Then the Lord answered me and said:“ Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.

And Jehovah answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it.

The Lord answered me: Write down this vision; clearly inscribe it on tablets so one may easily read it.

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make[ it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

The LORD responded:“ Write down this message! Record it legibly on tablets, so the one who announces it may read it easily.

Yahweh answered me,“ Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who runs may read it.

Now go and write down these words. Write them in a book. They will stand until the end of time as a witness

And I heard a voice from heaven saying,“ Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”

I am the living one. I died, but look— I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.“ Write down what you have seen— both the things that are now happening and the things that will happen.

“ Get a scroll, and write down all my messages against Israel, Judah, and the other nations. Begin with the first message back in the days of Josiah, and write down every message, right up to the present time.Perhaps the people of Judah will repent when they hear again all the terrible things I have planned for them. Then I will be able to forgive their sins and wrongdoings.”So Jeremiah sent for Baruch son of Neriah, and as Jeremiah dictated all the prophecies that the Lord had given him, Baruch wrote them on a scroll.

And the one sitting on the throne said,“ Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me,“ Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”And he also said,“ It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega— the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.“ But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars— their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

So that very day Moses wrote down the words of the song and taught it to the Israelites.

“ So write down the words of this song, and teach it to the people of Israel. Help them learn it, so it may serve as a witness for me against them.

You must clearly write all these instructions on the stones coated with plaster.”

Then the Lord said to me,“ Make a large signboard and clearly write this name on it: Maher shalal hash baz.”

Since this new way gives us such confidence, we can be very bold.

But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase.”

After the king had burned the scroll on which Baruch had written Jeremiah’s words, the Lord gave Jeremiah another message. He said,“ Get another scroll, and write everything again just as you did on the scroll King Jehoiakim burned.Then say to the king,‘ This is what the Lord says: You burned the scroll because it said the king of Babylon would destroy this land and empty it of people and animals.Now this is what the Lord says about King Jehoiakim of Judah: He will have no heirs to sit on the throne of David. His dead body will be thrown out to lie unburied— exposed to the heat of the day and the frost of the night.I will punish him and his family and his attendants for their sins. I will pour out on them and on all the people of Jerusalem and Judah all the disasters I promised, for they would not listen to my warnings.’”So Jeremiah took another scroll and dictated again to his secretary, Baruch. He wrote everything that had been on the scroll King Jehoiakim had burned in the fire. Only this time he added much more!

And the angel said to me,“ Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” And he added,“ These are true words that come from God.”

But in a church meeting I would rather speak five understandable words to help others than ten thousand words in an unknown language.

Then she returned to Mary. She called Mary aside from the mourners and told her,“ The Teacher is here and wants to see you.”So Mary immediately went to him.
