他们又对法老说：“迦南地的饥荒甚大，仆人的羊群没有草吃，所以我们来到这地寄居。现在求你容仆人住在歌珊地。”

他们又对法老说：“迦南地的饥荒非常严重，仆人的羊群没有牧草，所以我们来到这地寄居。现在求你准许仆人住在歌珊地。”

他们又对法老说：“我们来是要在这地寄居，因为迦南地的饥荒严重，你仆人们的羊群没有草吃，所以，现在求你容许你仆人住在歌珊地。”

他们又对法老说：“我们来是要在这地寄居，因为迦南地的饥荒严重，你仆人们的羊群没有草场了；现在求你容许仆人们住在歌珊地。”

他們又對法老說：「迦南地的饑荒甚大，僕人的羊羣沒有草吃，所以我們來到這地寄居。現在求你容僕人住在歌珊地。」

他們對法老說：『我們來、是要在這地寄居的，因為饑荒在迦南地很嚴重，那裏沒有牧場可以供給你僕人的羊羣：現在求王准僕人住在歌珊地。』

他們又對法老說：「我們來是要在這地寄居，因為迦南地的饑荒嚴重，你僕人們的羊群沒有草場了；現在求你容許僕人們住在歌珊地。」

又曰、迦南饑甚、牲畜無芻、故來旅此、求許僕居歌珊、

近者迦南饑甚、牲畜無蒭、故欲旅此、求法老許僕居坷山。

又對法老曰、迦南地饑甚、無芻牧畜、故僕來此旅居、今求許僕居歌珊地、

They also said to him,“ We have come to live here for a while, because the famine is severe in Canaan and your servants’ flocks have no pasture. So now, please let your servants settle in Goshen.”

They also said to him,“ We’ve come to live in Egypt for a while. There isn’t enough food anywhere in Canaan. There isn’t any grass for our flocks. So please let us live in Goshen.”

They said to Pharaoh,“ We have come to sojourn in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants’ flocks, for the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. And now, please let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen.”

We have come to live here in Egypt for a while, for there is no pasture for our flocks in Canaan. The famine is very severe there. So please, we request permission to live in the region of Goshen.”

And they said to Pharaoh,“ We have come to stay in the land for a while because there is no grazing land for your servants’ sheep, since the famine in the land of Canaan has been severe. So now, please let your servants settle in the land of Goshen.”

They also said to Pharaoh,“ We have come to reside in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants’ flocks, for the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. Now, therefore, please let your servants live in the land of Goshen.”

And they said to Pharaoh,“ We have come to dwell in the land, because your servants have no pasture for their flocks, for the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. Now therefore, please let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen.”

And they said unto Pharaoh, To sojourn in the land are we come; for there is no pasture for thy servants’ flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

Then they said to Pharaoh,“ We have come to live in the land for a while because there is no grazing land for your servants’ sheep, since the famine in the land of Canaan has been severe. So now, please let your servants settle in the land of Goshen.”

They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine[ is] sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

Then they said to Pharaoh,“ We have come to live as temporary residents in the land. There is no pasture for your servants’ flocks because the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. So now, please let your servants live in the land of Goshen.”

They also said to Pharaoh,“ We have come to live as foreigners in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants’ flocks. For the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. Now therefore, please let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen.”

你們要說，『僕人們跟我們的祖先一樣，從小以畜牧為業。』這樣，你們就可以住在歌珊，因為埃及人厭惡牧羊的。」

耶和華對他說：「你要清楚知道，你的後裔必流落異鄉，被奴役、虐待四百年。

你們要在你們的上帝耶和華面前宣告，『我們的祖先原是到處流浪的亞蘭人。他到埃及寄居時，家中人丁稀少，後來成為人口眾多的強大民族。

那地方的饑荒仍然非常嚴重，

後來，埃及和迦南全境遭遇饑荒，災情嚴重，我們的先祖們斷了糧。

以色列來到埃及，寄居在含地。

上帝又說，『你的子孫必流落異鄉，受奴役、被虐待四百年。

主耶和華說：「起先我的子民到埃及寄居，後來亞述人無緣無故地欺壓他們。」

當時，那地方鬧饑荒，災情非常嚴重，亞伯蘭便下到埃及暫住。
