耶穌也對門徒說：『一個財主有一個管家；有人向他進讒言，說這個人揮霍主人的資財。主人就叫管家來，對他說：「我所聽見關於你的這件事、怎麼樣啊？把你的管家職事交代明白吧；你不能再作管家了。」

各人要照所受的恩賜彼此服事，做上帝各種恩惠的好管家。

在最小的上頭可靠的，在多的上頭也必可靠；在最小的上頭不義的，在多的上頭也必不義。所以你們若在不義的財錢上顯為不可靠，誰還把那真的信託你們呢？你們若在別人的事物上顯為不可靠，誰還把你們自己的給你們呢？
