你穿越洪濤，我必與你同在；你渡過江河，必不會被水淹沒；你在火中走過，必不會被燒傷，火焰不會燒到你身上。

雅各聽了非常害怕，便把隨從、牛群、羊群和駱駝分成兩隊，

如果不是我父親以撒敬畏的上帝，就是亞伯拉罕的上帝與我同在，你肯定會讓我兩手空空地回家。但上帝看見了我的難處和勞苦，所以在昨夜責備了你。」

凡事都要尋求祂，祂必指引你走正路。

自己獨自留下。這時，有一個人來和他摔跤，直到黎明。

我與你同在，無論你去哪裡，我都會保護你，領你返回這片土地。我必實現對你的應許，決不離棄你。」

住在耶路撒冷的錫安百姓啊，你們必不再哭泣。祂聽到你們的呼求後必恩待你們；祂聽見後必應允你們。

我愛耶和華，因為祂垂聽了我的呼求和禱告。因為祂垂聽我的祈求，我一生都要向祂禱告。

我要帶著燔祭來到你殿中，履行我向你許的誓言，就是我在危難中許下的誓言。

夢中看見有個梯子立在地上，直通到天上，梯子上有上帝的天使上上下下。耶和華站在梯子上對雅各說：「我是耶和華，是你祖父亞伯拉罕的上帝，也是以撒的上帝。我要把你現在躺臥的地方賜給你和你的後代。

上帝是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們患難中隨時的幫助。

耶和華啊！我是你的僕人，是你的僕人，是你婢女的兒子。你除去了我的鎖鏈。我要向你獻上感恩祭，呼求你的名。我要在耶路撒冷，在耶和華的殿中，在耶和華的子民面前還我向祂許的願。你們要讚美耶和華！

雅各許願說：「如果上帝與我同在，在路上保護我，供給我衣食，帶領我平安地回到父親的家，我就一定敬奉耶和華為我的上帝。我立為柱子的這塊石頭必成為上帝的殿。凡你賜給我的，我必把十分之一獻給你。」

我的心啊，要稱頌耶和華，我要全心全意地稱頌祂的聖名。我的心啊，要稱頌耶和華，不要忘記祂的一切恩惠。祂赦免我一切的罪惡，醫治我一切的疾病。祂救贖我的生命脫離死亡，以慈愛和憐憫環繞我。祂以美物滿足我的願望，使我如鷹一般恢復青春。

他們當稱謝耶和華的慈愛，稱謝祂為世人所行的奇事。

他求告我，我就答應他；他遭遇患難，我必與他同在。我必拯救他，賜他尊貴的地位。

給我打開聖殿的門吧，我要進去稱謝耶和華。這是耶和華的門，義人都可以進去。耶和華啊！我稱謝你，因為你聽了我的禱告，拯救了我。工匠丟棄的石頭已成了房角石。
