We[ who are] Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

“ We, being Jews by nature, and not Gentile sinners,

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful,[ and] hating one another.

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Wherefore remember, that ye[ being] in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

What then? are we better[ than they]? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to[ our] father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.

They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father,[ even] God.

The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast[ it] unto the dogs.And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.

And when the Pharisees saw[ it], they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.

Therefore[ it is] of faith, that[ it might be] by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
