Hazar Enan will be part of the border. So will the northern border of Damascus next to Hamath. Dan’s northern border will run from east to west.

“ These are the names of the tribes: Beginning at the northern extreme, beside the way of Hethlon to Lebo-hamath, as far as Hazar-enan( which is on the northern border of Damascus over against Hamath), and extending from the east side to the west, Dan, one portion.

“ Here is the list of the tribes of Israel and the territory each is to receive. The territory of Dan is in the extreme north. Its boundary line follows the Hethlon road to Lebo hamath and then runs on to Hazar enan on the border of Damascus, with Hamath to the north. Dan’s territory extends all the way across the land of Israel from east to west.

“ Now these are the names of the tribes: From the northern end, along the road of Hethlon, to Lebo-hamath as far as Hazar-enon, at the northern border of Damascus, alongside Hamath and extending from the eastern side to the sea, will be Dan— one portion.

“ Now these are the names of the tribes: from the northern extremity, beside the way of Hethlon to Lebo hamath, as far as Hazar enan at the border of Damascus, toward the north beside Hamath, running from east to west, Dan, one portion.

“ Now these are the names of the tribes: From the northern border along the road to Hethlon at the entrance of Hamath, to Hazar Enan, the border of Damascus northward, in the direction of Hamath, there shall be one section for Dan from its east to its west side;

Now these[ are] the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east[ and] west; a[ portion for] Dan.

“ These are the names of the tribes: From the northern end beside the road of Hethlon to Lebo-hamath, as far as Hazar-enan( which is on the border of Damascus, toward the north beside Hamath), extending from the east side to the west, Dan will have one portion.

“ Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar Enan at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath( and they shall have their sides east and west), Dan, one portion.

我聞受印者、其印數約十四萬四千人、皆屬以色列支派、猶大支派、印一萬二千人、流便支派、印一萬二千人、伽得支派、印一萬二千人、亞設支派、印一萬二千人、納大利支派、印一萬二千人、馬拿西支派、印一萬二千人、西面支派、印一萬二千人、利未支派、印一萬二千人、以薩伽支派、印一萬二千人、西布倫支派、印一萬二千人、約瑟支派、印一萬二千人、便雅憫支派、印一萬二千人、

以我之物、行我所欲、不亦宜乎、我為善、爾怒目何也、如是、後者將為先、先者將為後、蓋被招者多、見選者少也、○

以色列族、與眷聚、偕雅各至埃及、其名備載如左。流便、西面、利未、猶大、以薩迦、西布倫、便雅憫、但、納大利、伽得、亞設、與在埃及之約瑟、屬于雅各者共七十人。

自大海而往至何耳山、又至哈末、延及西撻、至於錫分、哈薩以難、為爾北境。

今述其名、屬流便支派、示丟耳子以利蓿。屬西面支派、蘇哩沙太子示路滅。屬猶大支派、亞米拿達子拿順。屬以薩迦支派、蘇押子拿但業。屬西布倫支派、希倫子以利押。約瑟有二子、分為支派二、屬以法蓮支派、亞米忽子以利沙馬。屬馬拿西支派、比大蓿子迦馬列。屬便雅憫支派、其田尼子亞庇但。屬但支派、亞米沙太子亞劦色。屬亞設支派、惡闌子帕結。屬伽得支派、丟耳子以利亞薩。屬納大利支派、以南子亞希喇。

米迦見彼強於己、則歸。但族往。攜米迦所作之像、與其祭司、至於拉億、見民安居逸樂、擊之以刃、燬其邑垣。拉億在伯哩合谷、離西頓甚遠、不與他人通聞問、故無援者。但族復建城邑、而居於彼。昔邑名拉億、今循厥祖以色列子但之名、易名曰但。

籌思既竟、作二金犢、告民曰、詣耶路撒冷甚難、昔導以色列族出自埃及之上帝即此。置一犢於伯特利、一犢於但。

西界大海、自南方至哈末相向之地、此乃西界。

軍長約押侍側王諭之曰、爾遍行以色列族支派、自但至別是巴、核其民數、反而告我。

曰、我婢辟拉可與同室、彼生之、我撫之、我因以得子。遂以婢辟拉予夫同室。辟拉懷妊生子。拉結命名但、曰、上帝祐我、聽我祈、賜我一子、
