曰、爾亞捫族、宜聽主耶和華之言、主耶和華曰、昔我聖所玷污、以色列地荒蕪、猶大家被虜、爾則曰、嘻嘻、

曰、爾亞捫人、宜聽我言、主耶和華曰、昔予之聖所被玷、以色列族荒蕪、猶大家盡被俘囚、爾見之則曰吁哉。

告亞捫人曰、爾曹當聽主天主之言、主天主如是云、昔我聖所被玷、以色列地荒蕪、猶大族被擄、爾見之則曰、吁哉、

Say to them,‘ Hear the word of the Sovereign Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because you said“ Aha!” over my sanctuary when it was desecrated and over the land of Israel when it was laid waste and over the people of Judah when they went into exile,

Tell them,‘ Listen to the message of the Lord and King. He says,“ You laughed when my temple was made‘ unclean.’ You also laughed when the land of Israel was completely destroyed. You mocked the people of Judah when they were taken away as prisoners.

Say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God: Thus says the Lord God, Because you said,‘ Aha!’ over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah when they went into exile,

Give the Ammonites this message from the Sovereign Lord: Hear the word of the Sovereign Lord! Because you cheered when my Temple was defiled, mocked Israel in her desolation, and laughed at Judah as she went away into exile,

Say to the Ammonites,‘ Hear the word of the Lord GOD: This is what the Lord GOD says: Because you said,“ Aha!” about my sanctuary when it was desecrated, about the land of Israel when it was laid waste, and about the house of Judah when they went into exile,

and say to the sons of Ammon,‘ Hear the word of the Lord God! This is what the Lord God says:“ Because you said,‘ Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into exile,

Say to the Ammonites,‘ Hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God:“ Because you said,‘ Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,

and say unto the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

Say to the Ammonites: Hear the word of the Lord God: This is what the Lord God says: Because you said,‘ Good!’ about My sanctuary when it was desecrated, about the land of Israel when it was laid waste, and about the house of Judah when they went into exile,

And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

Say to the Ammonites,‘ Hear the word of the sovereign LORD: This is what the sovereign LORD says: You said“ Aha!” about my sanctuary when it was desecrated, about the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and about the house of Judah when they went into exile.

Tell the children of Ammon,‘ Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh! The Lord Yahweh says,“ Because you said,‘ Aha!’ against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

主耶和華這樣說：因為仇敵攻擊你們說：哈哈！那悠久的山岡都歸給我們為業了。

嘲笑窮人的就是辱罵造他的主；幸災樂禍的必難免受懲罰。

願那些尋索我性命的，抱愧蒙羞；願那些喜悅我遭害的，退後受辱。願那些對我說：“啊哈！啊哈！”的，都因羞愧退後。

你的仇敵跌倒的時候，你不要歡喜；他絆倒的時候，你心裡不可歡樂。恐怕耶和華看見了，就不喜悅，把他的怒氣從仇敵的身上，轉到你的身上。

我的仇敵啊！不要因我的遭遇而高興；我雖然跌倒了，卻必起來；我雖然坐在黑暗裡，耶和華卻必作我的光。

主耶和華這樣說：因為你手舞足蹈，心存輕蔑，因以色列地的遭遇而歡喜。

以東人哪，烏斯地的居民哪，歡喜快樂吧！這杯也要傳到你那裡，你必喝醉以致赤身露體。

少年人和老年人都在街上倒臥在地死了；我的年輕男女都倒斃於刀下；在你忿怒的日子，你殺了他們，你屠殺了他們，毫不憐惜。你從四圍招聚驚嚇我的，好像招聚人過節的日子一樣。在耶和華忿怒的日子，沒有人可以逃脫，可以生存。我所撫育、所養大的，我的仇敵都滅盡了。

主耶和華這樣說：“因為摩押和西珥說：‘看哪！猶大家與列國毫無分別’，

“人子啊！因為推羅論到耶路撒冷說：‘哈哈！那萬族的門已經破壞了，向我打開了；我必得豐滿，她卻成了荒場！’所以主耶和華這樣說：‘推羅啊！我要與你為敵；我必叫多國上來攻擊你，好像海使波浪湧上來一樣。他們必毀壞推羅的城牆，拆毀它的城樓；我必刮淨它的塵土，使它成為光滑的磐石。它必在海中作曬網的地方，因為我已經說了。這是耶和華的宣告。它必成為列國的掠物，那些在陸地居住的推羅人必被刀劍所殺；然後，他們就知道我是耶和華。“‘因為主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我要使諸王之王，就是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，率領馬匹、戰車、騎兵和一支大軍，從北方來攻擊推羅。他必用刀劍殺戮你那些在陸地居住的人；他必建造圍城的高牆，築起土壘，舉起盾牌攻擊你。他必用攻城鎚攻擊你的城牆，用武器拆毀你的城樓。因為他的馬匹眾多，牠們揚起的塵土必遮蓋你；他進入你的城門，好像人進入已有破口的城，那時，你的城牆必因騎兵、車輪和戰車的響聲而震動。他的馬蹄必踐踏你所有的街道；他必用刀殺戮你的人民；你堅固的柱子必倒在地上。他們必擄去你的財富，以你的貨財為掠物；他們必破壞你的城牆，拆毀你華麗的房屋，把你的石頭、木頭和瓦礫都投在水中。我必使你唱歌的喧聲止息；人也再聽不到你的琴聲。我必使你成為光滑的磐石；你必成為曬網的地方；你必不再被建造，因為我耶和華已經說了。這是主耶和華的宣告。’“主耶和華對推羅這樣說：‘殺戮在你中間發生，受傷的人都在唉哼的時候，眾海島豈不因你傾倒的聲音而震動嗎？那時所有沿海的君王都必由王座下來，除去朝服，脫下刺繡的衣服；披上戰兢，坐在地上，不停發抖，因你而驚駭。他們必為你作一首哀歌說：你這著名的城，航海之人的居所，在海上堅固有力的啊！你和你的居民素來使驚恐臨到所有住在那裡的人身上，你怎麼絕了跡呢？現在海島的居民在你傾倒的日子，都必戰兢；眾海島因你的毀滅而驚惶。因為主耶和華這樣說：我使你成為荒廢的城市，像沒有人居住的城鎮；我使深淵的水上升漫過你，使大水淹沒你，那時，我要使你與那些下到陰府的人一起，下到古時的人那裡去；我要使你住在地的深處，就是住在久而荒廢之地，與那些下到陰府的人在一起，以致你不再在活人的境界重現（“不再在活人的境界重現”這譯法是參考古譯本，原文作“不再返回，我卻要在活人境地顯出榮耀”）。我必使你遭遇可怕的災禍，你就不再存在了；人雖然尋找你，卻永不再尋得著。這是主耶和華的宣告。’”

“‘因為你曾說：這兩國這兩邦都必歸我，我必得它們為業，但其實耶和華還是在那裡。所以我指著我的永生起誓：我必照著你因仇恨而向他們所發的忿怒和嫉妒對待你。我審判你的時候，必把自己顯明在他們中間。這是主耶和華的宣告。這樣，你就必知道我耶和華聽見了你的一切毀謗，就是你攻擊以色列眾山的話，說：“這些山都已經荒涼了！已經給我們吞吃了！”你們用口說誇大的話攻擊我，說出許多話來與我作對，我都聽見了。主耶和華這樣說：全地都歡樂的時候，我卻要使你荒涼。你怎樣因以色列家的產業荒涼而歡樂，我也必照樣待你。西珥山啊！你和以東全地都必荒涼。他們就知道我是耶和華。’”
