I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.

I will give my people hearts that are completely committed to me. I will give them a new spirit that is faithful to me. I will remove their stubborn hearts from them. And I will give them hearts that obey me.

顯然，你們是從基督而來的一封信，是我們工作的成果。這信不是用筆墨寫成的，乃是藉著永活上帝的靈寫成的；不是寫在石版上的，而是刻在心版上的。

我要賜給他們一顆心，使他們認識我是耶和華。他們要做我的子民，我要做他們的上帝，因為他們必全心全意地歸向我。』

你們要離棄從前所有的罪惡，洗心革面。以色列人啊！你們何必走向滅亡呢？』

心如鐵石，不遵從律法，也不遵從萬軍之耶和華藉著祂的靈指示從前的先知所說的話。因此，萬軍之耶和華非常憤怒。

你們的上帝耶和華要潔淨你們和你們子孫的心，好讓你們全心全意地愛祂，並且存活。

所以，如果你們在基督裡受到鼓勵，得到愛的安慰，與聖靈相通，有慈悲和憐憫之心，就要同心合意，彼此相愛，靈裡合一，思想一致，好讓我的喜樂更充足。凡事不可自私自利、愛慕虛榮，要心存謙卑，看別人比自己強。各人不要只顧自己的事，也要為別人的需要著想。你們應當有基督耶穌那樣的心腸。

還是你藐視祂深厚的慈愛、寬容和忍耐，不知道祂的慈愛是要引導你悔改嗎？你這樣硬著心不肯悔改等於是為自己積蓄烈怒，上帝的烈怒在祂施行公義審判的那天必臨到你。

「那時，我必潔淨萬民的口，以便他們可以求告我的名，同心合意地事奉我。

當時所有信徒都同心合意，共用所有的東西，沒有人說他的財物只屬於自己。

受不受割禮根本無關緊要，做一個新造的人才至關重要。

以和平彼此聯結，竭力持守聖靈所賜的合一。正如你們蒙召後有同一個盼望，你們同屬一個身體，有同一位聖靈、同一位主、同一個信仰、同一種洗禮、同一位上帝，就是萬物之父。祂超越萬物，貫穿萬物，且在萬物之中。

若有人在基督裡，他就是新造的人，舊事已過，看啊，一切都更新了。

但護慰者，就是父為我的名而差來的聖靈，將教導你們一切的事，並使你們想起我對你們說的一切話。

我知道你頑梗，有鐵一般的頸項，銅一般的額頭。

耶和華上帝感動猶大人，使他們一心遵從王與眾官員奉祂的指示所下的命令。

你們雖然邪惡，尚且知道把好東西給兒女，天父豈不更要賜聖靈給那些求祂的人嗎？」

上帝並沒有放棄祂預先揀選的子民。你們不知道聖經上有關以利亞先知的記載嗎？他在上帝面前控告以色列人，說：

親愛的弟兄姊妹，我奉主耶穌基督的名勸你們，要同心合意，不可結黨紛爭，要團結一致，

使他們都合而為一，正如父你在我裡面，我在你裡面一樣，並且使他們也在我們裡面，好讓世人相信是你差我來的。我又將你賜給我的榮耀賜給他們，使他們像我們一樣合而為一。我在他們裡面，你在我裡面，好使他們也完完全全地合而為一。這樣，世人便知道我是你差來的，而且知道你愛他們，就像愛我一樣。

洗心革面，

因為你聽到我對這地方及其居民的警告，知道這地方要受咒詛、淪為荒場，便悔改，在我面前謙卑，撕裂衣服，向我哭泣。因此，我垂聽了你的禱告。這是我耶和華說的。
