Now go, lead the people to the place I spoke of, and my angel will go before you. However, when the time comes for me to punish, I will punish them for their sin.”

伸冤报应在我，到了时候他们会失脚。因为他们遭难的日子近了，他们的厄运快要临到。

“看哪，我要差遣使者在你前面，在路上保护你，领你到我所预备的地方。

如此，地上所有义人流的血都归到你们身上，从义人亚伯的血起，直到你们在圣所和祭坛中间所杀的巴拉加的儿子撒迦利亚的血为止。

不可跪拜那些像，也不可事奉它们，因为我耶和华—你的神是忌邪的神。恨我的，我必惩罚他们的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代；

“这邪恶的会众向我发怨言要到几时呢？以色列人向我发的怨言，我都听见了。你要告诉他们，耶和华说：‘我指着我的永生起誓，我必照你们在我耳中所说的待你们。你们的尸体必倒在这旷野中。你们中间被数点，凡二十岁以上向我发怨言的，必不得进我所起誓应许给你们居住的那地。惟有耶孚尼的儿子迦勒和嫩的儿子约书亚才能进去。

我岂不因这些事施行惩罚吗？像这样的国家，我岂能不报复呢？这是耶和华说的。

他们在一切苦难当中，他也同受苦难，并且他面前的使者拯救他们。他以慈爱和怜悯救赎他们，在古时的日子时常抱他们，背他们。

我们哀求耶和华，他垂听了我们的声音，差遣使者把我们从埃及领出来。看哪，我们到了你边界的加低斯城。

还是你藐视他丰富的恩慈、宽容、忍耐，不知道他的恩慈是领你悔改吗？你竟放任你刚硬不悔改的心，为自己累积愤怒！在愤怒的日子，神公义的审判要显示出来。他要照各人的行为报应各人。

耶和华说：“我必亲自去，让你安心。”摩西说：“你若不亲自去，就不要把我们从这里领上去。

我要差遣使者在你前面，把迦南人、亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人赶出

我惩罚以色列罪孽的日子，也要惩罚伯特利的祭坛；祭坛的角必被砍下，坠落于地。

耶和华—我们的神啊，你应允了他们；你是赦免他们的神，却按他们所做的报应他们。
