And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto Jehovah; peradventure I shall make atonement for your sin.

谁知道神也许会回心转意，不发烈怒，使我们不致灭亡。”

亚伦照摩西所说的拿了香炉，跑到会众中。看哪，瘟疫已经在百姓中开始了。他就加上香，为百姓赎罪。

这些年轻人的罪在耶和华面前非常严重，因为这些人藐视耶和华的祭物。

摩西回到耶和华那里，说：“唉！这百姓犯了大罪，为自己造了金的神明。现在，求你赦免他们的罪；不然，就把我从你所写的册上除名。”

用温柔劝导反对的人。也许神会给他们悔改的心能明白真理，

所以我告诉你，她许多的罪都赦免了，因为她爱的多；而那少得赦免的，爱的就少。”
