As soon as he came near to the camp, he saw the calf and the dancing. Then Moses’ anger grew hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands, and broke them beneath the mountain.

When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain.

Moses begged Yahweh his God, and said,“ Yahweh, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, that you have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

“ Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath,

But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said to them,“ Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.

David danced before Yahweh with all his might; and David was clothed in a linen ephod.

But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother,‘ Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.

The joy of our heart has ceased. Our dance is turned into mourning.

When he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other.

Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dances.

I took my staff Favor, and cut it apart, that I might break my covenant that I had made with all the peoples.It was broken in that day; and thus the poor of the flock that listened to me knew that it was Yahweh’s word.

Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all the men who were on the surface of the earth.

He received what they handed him, fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made it a molded calf. Then they said,“ These are your gods, Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.”When Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made a proclamation, and said,“ Tomorrow shall be a feast to Yahweh.”They rose up early on the next day, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
