耶和华对摩西说：“我会在密云中临到你那里，使百姓也可以亲耳听见我与你说话的声音，这样他们就会永远信赖你。”摩西把以色列人的话回报耶和华。

The Lord said to Moses,“ I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you.” Then Moses told the Lord what the people had said.

祂让你们听见祂从天上来的声音，好教导你们，又在地上让你们看见祂的烈火，并听见祂在烈火中说的话。

你们来到山脚下，站在那里，山上烈焰冲天、乌云密布、极其幽暗。耶和华在火焰中对你们说话，你们只听见祂的声音，却看不见祂的形象。

到了第三天早晨，山上雷电大作，乌云密布，又有嘹亮的号角声，营中的百姓都胆战心惊。

摩西上了山，密云遮盖着整座山。耶和华的荣耀停留在西奈山上，密云遮盖了山六天。第七天，耶和华在云中召唤摩西。

百姓都站得远远的，摩西独自走进上帝所在的密云中。

以色列百姓亲眼看见耶和华怎样以大能对付埃及人，他们就敬畏耶和华，又信服祂和祂的仆人摩西。

密云和黑暗环绕在祂周围，公义和公平是祂宝座的根基。

他正在说话的时候，一朵灿烂的云彩笼罩他们。云中传出声音：“这是我的爱子，我甚喜悦祂，你们要听从祂。”

站在那里的人群中有人听见就说：“打雷了！”也有人说：“是天使在跟祂说话。”耶稣说：“这声音不是为我发出的，是为你们发出的。

第二天清晨，众人起来去提哥亚的旷野。他们出发的时候，约沙法站着说：“犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民啊，请听我说！要信靠你们的上帝耶和华，你们就必坚立；要相信祂的先知，你们就必得胜。”

以下是关于埃及的预言：看啊，耶和华驾着疾驰的云来到埃及。埃及的偶像在祂面前颤抖，埃及人胆战心惊。

耶稣继续对门徒说：“谁听从你们，就是听从我；谁拒绝你们，就是拒绝我；拒绝我的，就是拒绝差我来的那位。”

祂藏身于黑暗中，四围以密云作幔幕。从祂面前的荣光中，冰雹和火炭冲破云层。

他的话还没说完，有一朵云彩飘来，笼罩他们，他们进入云彩中，都很害怕。云彩中有声音说：“这是我的儿子，是我拣选的，你们要听从祂！”

那时，所罗门说：“耶和华啊，你曾说你要住在密云中，

看啊！祂要驾云降临，世人都要看见祂，包括曾经刺祂的人。地上的万族都必因祂而哀哭。这事必定实现。阿们！
